Whats going on, I'm on the torrent and getting 8kb a second, at this rate it is telling me that it will be fninshed in 1 week and 4 days!!!!!!!!

I was just puzzled as I would think that some of hem would be quite sensitive, secuirty wise. I know thats the reason they can do an AH64D beciase the Longbow radar is still hush hush.

Will you be modelling all the systems?

Tornado would be great, as would the Gripen. Whilst the current to-do list is ok there are a lot of aircraft in there that have been done already in Lock On (ok not to the same degree of complexity but still). I am looking forward to the Mi24 and Apache but the others leave me a little cold. Why not throw a Tornado in the mix or the F15 E instead of the C?

Great sim, dont get me wrong its bloody hard and will take me months to get everything out of it, but I'm getting the basics and blowing stuff up and enjoying myself thoroughly. Well worth the wait lads and lasses.:pilotfly:

To be honest I live in the UK and am used to being charged more software companies because of where I live. Mcafee are one of the worst, they charge you in pounds the equivelent to the same amount of dollars etc. So effetively we are paying 1 and 1/3 more for the same products as the yanks which pisses me off no end. BS is still good value but the disparity in the amounts stilll annoys a little.

Personally I think that ED etc should be shown a bit more respect by some of the community. Yes its looking like its going to be another delay, but at the end of the day the idiots that acted imorally that have created this mess and no one at ED is to blame. At the end of the day it is their product, their hard work and they can do what they bloody well like with it (even put Starforce on it;) if they want). I am very much looking forward to it's western release and am happy to to wait for it, I just think that some people on here need to have a bit of a word with themselves and stop getting so wound up by what is essentially a piece of entertainment. Go outside, take a walk, meet a girl, get some sun, take up a sport, just stop sitting in your house whining like a 5 year old kid that you cant play with your toy helicopter. As i said i am really looking forward to getting BS but its not going to ruin my life if I dont get it within the next 6 months odd.

Fair play, it probably is difficult to decide on the flyables and as I said it was a question not a criticism, this project still has unbeliveable potential and I will be supporting it by buying the KA50 when it is released. All the best UK

I noticed in the last developers notes that you are planning to to the F15C, A10 and various other aircraft that have already been covered in a good amount of detail in Lock-On. Are you not simply covering old ground again when you have the opportunity to produce exciting aircraft that have been either overlooked in simming in the past or have had substandard models made. Don't get me wrong , I am severely excited about the KA50 but I cant help feeling a little underwhelmed. Why not, for example, produce a model of the F15E Strike Eagle, it would be great to have a quialty ground pounder in the list, or even an old favorite like the Tornado or Harrier? Please dont take this as a criticism as i really isn't meant like that.:smilewink: All the best.

Fair play. Cant blame a guy for wishing can you? Looking forward to the AH-64 anyway. Cheers

Why not the Longbow? If you want a proper Study Sim it has to be the longbow no? It would be nice to have a decent complex Radar system to operate in a chopper.

God, I wish they'd do a new version of Longbow, I bloody loved that game. Ahead of its time really. -
Thanks for letting me know, I was a bit worried about getting a SAM up my exhaust pipe while I am was trying top translate a page into Russian.

Whilst I am all for as much realism as you can get, will there be an option in Black Shark for language change for the Systems in BS. I am talking in particular about the Nav System and and Avionics, I belive that the manual for the Nav system alone runs to 72 pages so it is obviously incredibly complex piece of equipement. I can see a problem for those of us who don't speak Russian, trying to marry up English words in the manual to their russian equivalents in-game. Just a thought and not a huge problem but I just thought I would ask.:smilewink:

The problem is that the flight sims nowadays take a lot more money to make than they used to. It isn't a tiny market but not in the same league as Warcrap etc so they need to make a pretty good return from a limited market. These games also take a long time to produce (look at Black Shark for instance, and they've delayed it again  ) are very complex pices of software because of the systems and dynamics they simulate. It probably scares off a lot of developers who may consider making a flight sim unfortunately.
