    Release??

Agreed. If you said there would be an update coming in a week I for one would be perfectly fine with it. It's ok with little stuff like this but when you guys act like everything is nearly done it makes us buy equipment, get time off and otherwise get ready for an experience that doesn't come.
  2. I'll buy it when it's reasonably bug-free. So... never ? Bought all the other sim- (not lock on) dcs aircraft but I won't get burned for the third time by Belsimtek.

    Release??

    I completely agree
  4. Whoa! You guys need to relax! That can't possibly be sustainable for many days without killing someone. Plus creative people can't do good work unless relaxed and not overly stressed. I don't like this assumption here that counting rivets and going bonkers from overtime is fine. I vote for a calmly and professionally done piece of work. Just don't overestimate (preferably don't estimate at all) and don't overstate the amount of work that has been done and you'll be aces in my book And thanks for sticking with the project  Looking forward to the day the exchange of my money made by doing overtime on software for your masterpiece happens !
  5. Unlike you I prefer having less aircraft in higher fidelity. Just voicing my opinion here, no need to defend. I'd much rather hear Belsimtek's position on this in the bug threads, that's all I'm trying to get. Unfortunately I couldn't find any other means of customer support than the forum which doesn't look good to me either. I'd just like all the bugs people are raising to be acknowledged, tracked and either resolved or rejected. The status quo really sucks. Just let us know your plans regarding existing aircraft, Belsimtek, please. It's not that hard.
  6. Cockpit lighting bugs are present in the huey as well, and that got out of beta ages ago and yet there's a new aircraft in the belsimtek subforum already. Neither aircraft is usable at night without improper workarounds. You have to admit that doesn't look good as far as care for product quality is concerned. I'm sure people could think of many excuses but as a customer I see two things I bought already not getting proper attention and focus being shifted elsewhere.
  7. +1. Why are you starting to work on new aircraft and not even acknowledging bugs in already released products we have paid for ?
  8. hello guys, any update on this? Most of the cockpit lights don't work in the Mi-8 either (but I'm sure someone already pointed that out). I'm somewhat suprised you've designated the Huey as not being beta even though there are outstanding bugs left. I have an AMD FX-8150 system with 16GB of RAM and GeForce GTX570 on Windows 7 64-bit.
  9. Well as far as I've noticed (been checking every week or so regularly), the message appeared in there right around the time the beczl studios -> leatherneck change happened so it made me think you meant that as opposed to actual political issues. If it is actually to do with political issues in the right sense of the word then I apologize for making the wrong conclusions (although I don't know why would that have to be there). (i've removed it from my post, sorry. please feel free to delete this one as well.)
  10. I'm glad someone finally said it and it didn't have to be me. On the other hand, I'd much rather see this in 2 years in hog level quality than at an entirely different quality level in 'beta forever' (just don't want to get my post deleted but I'm sure people know damn well what I'm talking about - the 'DCS' level of quality label lost its meaning unfortunately.). I'm a software developer as well and I'd not only get fired if I did what you guys did but I'd probably have hard time ever working in this business again. Just to clarify: the fact that the project is taking a lot of time isn't the problem in my view. It's the unbelievable public relations stunts behind it. Whatever, I'll still buy the mig anyway, it looks really awesome. Finally a first actual fighter aircraft for DCS with an actual radar (had to say it as well). Just to put more positivity here: I'm sure once ED gets the alternative maps working and we get more air to air aircraft, DCS is going to be an epic platform. If we get something like Falcon AF had I'd be one very happy customer.
  11. no problem, just a little temporary stain on otherwise awesome simulation :)
  12. I can also confirm that this still isn't fixed in the newest version as of writing.
