The series wings of the red star has an excellent video on the su-25. Even has some good commentary from American pilots that have flown it and talk about the planes flight charteristics.

+1 I would also like to see the su-25sm even if it was fc3 since it is actually what the Russian air force is using currently.i didn't realize the su-25t wasn't what the Russians were currently using.since the su-25sm is a upgraded su-25a can it use the vikhr and shkval systems and does it retain the flight characteristics of the su-25a?

Thanks doom I didn't know about the page keys.since I designed the mission it has 6 waypoints.

Was just messing around with tHe new f-15c getting my x-52 setup and pulled up the kneeboard it shows my flight plan and my first waypoint but that's all I can see.can you zoom the map in or out or move it so you can see other waypoints or does it move as you fly to each waypoint? I've never used the kneeboard before so I don't know much about what it does and doesn't do.are there any tutorials about the kneeboard and the way it functions in 1.2.8?

I agree with what banshee said I will support ED/ dcs modules and admire the devs who build them.yes a f-4 would be frikin awesome even in FC3 but until then I will keep playing SF2 with its f-4's.granted they are not as detailed or advanced as a DCS /FC3 f-4 would be and the sim is quite dated but it will satisfy my f-4 fix for now. PS : banshee I also uninsalled FSX not because it not a good sim,it is but because it just became boring flying combat aircraft in a non combat sim granted if you have tacpac and VRS F -18 you can blow stuff up but it's just not the same as DCS.

thanks aussieboy that worked your help is very much appreciated. that was the one instruction I was missing.in all the things I have read in this forum I don't remember anybody saying to go to the weapons page to change the skin.i guess you are just supposed to know that.i have been playing this sim since lock on 1 came out but am a noob to modding DCS .thank you for helping out an old dog that can still learn new tricks.and to all the experienced players shame on you. I got help from another junior member like me.apparently you don't give a damn about helping the new people trying to learn.

I posted a reply fro this subject in mods and apps (maybe not the right place but no one said it wasn't).so I will post one here.i have downloaded flankers skin pack 2 for the su-25t and put the folders in DCS/Bazar/liveries like I have been reading on the forum but I cant get any new skins to show in mission editor for the USA.i keep hearing about all the cool skins you can have but everyone must know how but me.i also tried putting them in TempTExtures file that didn't work either. I also keep hearing about editing LUA files,HOW.what program to open them.i getting a little pissed,everthing I read on the forums I tried, nothing works and I get no replys when I ask a question on the forums.i need a tutorial about how to install skins in DCS world because apparently I cant fathom the concept!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently downloaded flankers su-25t skins part 2 for my su-25t in dcs world and installed them in the path dcs/bazar/liveries/su-25t. there are three folders.agressor 194 aggressor 649 and fictional black and I cant find any of them when I go to mission editor to create a new mission.why cant I find them?
