This is a great thread. I am getting back into DCS now that I am CV1 enabled. You could add a checklist for the version of DCS that works with VR. I am unsure if DCS 2.0 works or not.

We thank you for your reply. Indeed, the unit has been received and the technical inspection revealed a critical hardware fault with it. Since the repair procedure was not feasible the decision to replace the base entirely with a new one was made. The replacement cylindrical base is scheduled to be shipped to you tomorrow morning. Phew

Update: I've posted the base of the stick to France. They will look at it and either replace the base or repair it. I am now without a joystick :(

Hi all. I've been getting my butt buttkicked in racing games using SimVibe software with a 2nd soundcard. Cannot race without them now(2 x BK Gamer2). :) Is there something similar for DCS to get those kickers working with the telemetry data instead of audio? A

Will do. It is brand new considering I havent used it alot and also the way I use my peripherals, I treat them kindly. Sent more information to support for RMA time. Hope I am back in action soon.

Just been on the phone with support. They have forwarded my email I sent em with another video explaining the problem. Hopefully I'll be contacted today with a resolution. I have no idea. Settling to start Elite dangerous and noticed the stick was behaving differently. Can I replace the broken part if Thrustmaster are taking long to send me a replacement?

Hi all, This problem started yesterday. I have a youtube video showing what is happening to the stick. It seems like something is broken inside. The stick shouldnt be moving/rotate like X52. Is there a fix to this? I have contacted Thrustmaster support since I purchased this in July 2013. Should be 2 year warranty I think in EU. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks A

A quick search yielded only a single thread. Has anyone tested this or purchased it yet? I'm waiting on Oculus consumer version to be released hopefully with a good price point. But this device looks really good and an option for someone with a deep pocket.

The headset I am using is creative sound blaster tactic3d wrath. Its wireless with 5.1 surround. I also have Logitech Z906 5.1 speakers that is connected using optical cable to the PC Onboard optical port.

Hi, I've ordered a Samsung 840 250GB SSD. Also upgrading my ancient Q6600 CPU to i5 4670K. 16GB Ram has arrived. The motherboard I purchased is MSI Z87M Gaming which has its own onboard sound processor called 'Audio Boost'. Should I still purchase a separate sound card if MB already has one?

Can this be used as a hand gesture for viewing the cockpit/zoom in and out?

Thanks guys. Knowing my 7950 has life left in it for now I wouldnt need to spend £400+ on another GPU. Two games that matter to me the most DCS and BF4. If these two run well with the future upgrade I am sorted.

Hey all, I am currently not able to continue my DCS journey(work related), but that's not stopping me from thinking ahead :) My current system is so ancient in PC terms that I am not bothering it anymore. Q6600(Stock Clocks) 8GB Ram XFX 7950 overclocked version. So far I have in my wish list i5 4670K or i7 4770K Asus Maximus VI board 16GB Ram 240GB SSD Corsair H100i cooler The advice I need guys, is whether I need to also upgrade my GPU. I checked the main site news area and the update shows .225 Since updating DCS to 1.2.5.16508.227 the game has been crashing every single time. It loads to the main GUI and when selecting a mission it crashes. How can I revert back to .225? Thanks

After this update DCS is crashing when launching a mission/instant action with an error "Can not open file debrifing" Anyway to roll back to the previous version without re installing v1.2.4? New to DCS. Also new to TM HW. I was using Speedlink Black Widow(awful for DCS) before upgrading to a Warthog. When I did, the whole tutorial made sense. As for Rudder, I am currently using Clubsports Pedals for racing and its doing a fantastic job. The shock factor of how heavy and well built still lingers on after two weeks of owning a TM HW. It was worth the upgrade.
