  3. Hi everyone, thanks for turning up! Flappie, multiple channels will be available for comms to speak in the language you are more comfortable with. Highway, just using teamspeak for comms. Event will be given 3 hours to complete the destruction of ground objectives, or when all aircraft on one side are eliminated. Iceman11, mig21 spots full for now, so I'll note you on the standby waiting list in case a pilot doesnt show up for it during the event. However, you may choose a spot on an active aircraft meanwhile to make sure you get participate. The tasking for Hueys will be to aid in destroying the ground targets, trucks and buildings protected by small arms fire. As well as scouting by reporting any possible enemy operating in the area from the Huey's perspective.

  5. What I've noticed in these events is that people lose interest if they have to wait around for hours for the event to start...some of the players may have planned things around the event. I don't think people would be happy to take off late after the usual waiting for things to be ready, then have to cancel because of server problems, and then have to wait for mission to be transferred to 104th after problems. So in the interest of making sure people don't just give up on the event, I suggest to just host it on the 104th server from the start if possible. Just a suggestion. :imho: Also players, please be considerate to everyone participating on the event and be on time...
  6. I agree, that is possible if the players don't take the time to visually ID the markings.
  7. Sounds good, I'll remove radar guided missiles from the bases. The amount of airplanes available was limited to have players use a variety of all airframes. When the official announcement is made, aircraft will be distributed on a first come - first serve basis...if your first choice is filled up, you'll be placed on your second or third selection. Aircrafts available: Mi8 x4 each side Ka50 x4 each side Huey x4 each side MiG21 x4 each side MiG15 x3 each side F86 x3 each side (note: Red Sabres have USAF skin but no stripes... BLUE Sabres will have black stripes on their wings.) Hawk x2 each side Su25T x4 RED | x2 BLUE A10C x2 RED | x4 BLUE Su25 x3 RED ONLY A10A x3 BLUE ONLY C101CC pending release The city of ZUGDIDI is naturally divided by a river. Each side will have 10 camps, red camps to the west, blue camps to the east. All 10 camps have to be destroyed to win the mission, or eliminate all enemy aircrafts. Players will have 1 life. Reds have Sukhumi and Gudauta airfields. Blues have Kobuleti and Batumi airfields. Although red helos start at Sukhumi, and blue helos start at Kobuleti...Each side has 2 FARPs within 9 miles of the target areas, so that helicopters can be serviced without needing to fly all the way back to their starting airfield. Map will be set to view yourself only. No external views.
  8. Defensive maneuvering vs a MiG-21 is something the pilots have to work out and learn by themselves  MiG-21 wouldn't be the only threat out there. So far the event seems to be planned for August. Just to have an idea of what the roster might look like, which aircraft would you guys like to reserve for yourself? Just name 2 choices in order of preference.
  9. I present to you the following idea, and I'd like to hear your opinions. All who have participated in Red Flag can agree the idea is very fun and enjoyable! And I thank the 104th for such events, it brings the community closer. However, I feel it focuses too much on 4th gen fighters too much and most other aircraft are neglected. Nothing wrong with that, but to give the other modules more attention I propose the following; My group would create a Red Flag styled multiplayer mission for a Player vs Player event. Aircrafts available would be; A-10A & C, Su-25 & T, Hawk, MiG21, MiG15, F86 and the C101 (if it has weapons by the time we do the event) Helicopters can be included if voted for. Also I'd like to hear some suggestions on what to call the mission!
  10. So far DCS does not have actual dedicated servers, like some other games do. All the multiplayer servers you see are hosted from the multiplayer game just like you would. The ones with "dedicated" written in the name, pretty much its just someone that has set up a pc to run a hosted game and with scripts they can control it, but this still is not a real "dedicated server" in its true sense. Hope this helps you understand.
  11. Correct, so for example I'm using old=49 and regardless it uses su-25T avionics. So it error is most likely in the bold and underlined area, ["F-16C"] = current_mod_path .. '/Input/F-16C', I have tried F-16C which is the old ID used by DCS until a few months ago, and F-16C Bl.50, neither of those work
  12. New version with easier install and fixed views position. All files from previous version must be removed package includes spanish and english instructions http://www.mediafire.com/download/2rdpeufcybbau9p/v1+AH64A+Mod.zip
  13. All these questions have been repeatedly answered, but it seems people are unable to scroll up, so here are the answers again. Yes all weapons that DCS assigned to the AH-64A can be used, only problem is firing the cannon (in multiplayer) causes crash to desktop. If you are interested which weapons they are, put an AH-64A on the mission editor and see for yourself. How to install: Read the readme file...it unlocks the hidden secrets how to install... If your eyes are allergic to readme files I will copy paste instructions here, First, you must be an owner of the KA-50 module. the AH-64A folder goes in DCS/Mods/Aircraft Then, copy the bin folder from your KA-50 module, to the AH-64A module The file inside the "Lua" folder goes in DCS World\Scripts\Database\helicopters, I recommend saving a copy of the original ah-64a.lua in there The "Input" folder, merge with the Input folder located in DCS World\Config Uses Ka-50 cockpit and controls. Cockpit location is not best now, but will get fixed in future version. Works in multiplayer and singleplayer in the current DCS version

    No conecto

  15. Yeah, my F-16 mod :P Its just F16 with F-15 cockpit.
  16. Despite most of the aircrafts working perfectly fine as flyables with FC3 cockpits, there are a few that ignore the input folder assigned to them and instead show & use the su-25T controls. Could anyone share some light on why this happens and how to fix it? :smilewink:
  17. Small thinking...I want DCS Milky Way.
  18. Hope you enjoy.:smilewink: Practicing formations on the C-101EB.
  19. For some reason my mouse nipple does nothing...regardless of following these steps down to the detail...
  20. I tried putting the track ir dots on a helmet, but it didn't work too well... if i looked up the dots would not be in line of sight to the infrared http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/01-store/0-resources-store/resources-accessories/item_dots_large.gif
