My work around so far at a random ship in mission is if you aim directly at a ship within 9 miles or less the missile will impact the ship. They won't lock on to the ship, so you must aim directly at ship.
In various servers when commanding vehicles to move it lags the server. In some cases server still runs smooth but other clients position just freezes during CA commanded movements. Various clients report this.
They can't finish their work because too many people asking questions all the time! If it wasn't for all the questions they had to answer then it would of been complete a year ago!
In the previous version, when the Silkworm Missile was added, they also added a Tomahawk Launcher based on the MLRS chasis to the US.
The Tomahawk Launcher is now missing/no longer available under the US.
Would love to see it back, it was fun using it with combined arms.
It gives mission editors the option to put su33 on both coalitions in this sandbox simulator.
If it's not realistic in your opinion, you can simply not use them.
The Su33 & Su27 are now missing in Greece on the current stable version.
But the textures are still present in the DCS bazar / liveries folder.

So a thunderstorm knocked out my internet.
I decided to fly DCS, started the sim and I received a message saying modules will only be available for some hours and it started a timer.
I connected again a few days later, and all my modules were deactivated.
Any way to prevent this from happening when I want to sim offline in the future besides getting back online? This is assuming I was not able to click the OFFLINE MODE button on the main menu before I lost the internet connection.
I tend to use a10 for that, has all the tools and performance to stay over the target area lasing for others and dropping smoke or parachuted flares over area.
Yes, I know the F-5 is not meant to land on carriers. But in theory the hook is capable of catching cables for land bases...just like on a ship.
So Belsimtek please keep it like this, do not remove the capability to catch the cables on the carrier.
Whether the player wants to use it to land on carriers or not it should be up to him.
In other words, I'm now enjoying having a light "carrier" aircraft.
AI aircraft when they land after they park the crew will exit the aircraft...all DCS airplanes do this for many years even on Caucasus map. Some even chock their wheels and put up remove before flight tags, it varies between model of airplane.
Landing at night might be harder to see with the long nose. So I assume the light to the side its so that the pilot can have better depth perception by seeing the runway around his side lighted.
Chuck...I have a copy of your Mirage 2000C manual saved in my PC. :) How can I send it to you so you can recover it?
Maybe if others have copies saved on their PC they can assist by sending it to him.
One of my professors used to fly F-4s, often he'd be assigned to escort F-105s. He said it was pointless, when the firing started, the F-105s would burn, and leave the F-4s behind dodging all the sams.
