None of the buttons are working on my VFX/Warthog combo. The connection both on the stick and base look fine with the pins. I can switch also to all three of my other grips (Virpil older T-50cm, Thrustmaster A-10 and F-18) and the buttons work but still nothing on the VFX. I have firmware 12 in the Warthog. I think I can tell the VFX making good connection because on the Warthog without a grip all the buttons show pressed in Windows Game Controller/VPC joytester and then when the VFX is connected it shows none of the buttons are being pressed. Seems something software with the VFX. Can you load a VPC software profile to their stick through a Warthog base? All this surprises me since my T-50cm just works with the Warthog. I know the DLC and brake axes will on be buttons, but I'm not even getting that right now.

That's a great point about the 1080Ti, I doubt DCS will take advantage of the RTX features any time soon like ray tracing.

Here's my question though since I'm building a 9700K system on a Asus Z390-Tuf too, are you really going to see an improvement in DCS going to the 2080Ti? Most general benchmarks show a less than 20% improvement for an over 110% price increase of the 2080Ti compared to the 2070S. To me, that cost to performance gain isn't worth it since I'm assuming that DCS will have even less gains compared to benchmark and FPS programs that are generally used to measure video cards. The only way that makes sense to me is if you are running 4k and need the extra 3GB of VRAM. Otherwise, I'd wait for the 30xx.

As Don says, not required but nice to have. I have seen some improvement via the general recommendation of turning of ASW on my marginal system (i7-4790K @4.5 and RTX 2060). It's not that Oculus Tray Tool is the only way to do that (Ctrl+NumPad 1 is the general keyboard command IIRC) it's that you can confirm it's off easier. Plus it has other nice features like minimizing Oculus app to tray and advanced settings. I only have played with PD in DCS

I too did not receive a newsletter this week, the first Friday I did not since at least 2018.

This was the newest thread I could find on the 3rd Space Vest so decided to turn off lurker mode and resurrect it somewhat. I have used the 3rd Space in conjunction with my JetSeat and bass shakers, and while I would buy the other two first, the 3rd Space Vest can be used to give the best direct feedback of G state (and a few other things) since the rumbles of the other two can get muddled in the exact rumbles' cause. When all 3 are combined the tactile feedback is a poor man's G Seat. Now the problem is that I currently don't have it working with DCS. I'm using PS Cockpits 1.0.3 and while it will make my vest work with BMS, I keep getting a PS Cockpit's Error 6 code trying to get it to work with DCS despite following the recommended procedure. I'll post up here when I'm able to work through it or just in case there is somebody else that has it working. Until then, maybe this will put this put the 3rd Space Vest on few of your radars since these can often be found on eBay for a good deal and I think they may still be in production. If you are into tactile feedback, it adds an important layer.

Definitely working now, but I forgot to enter my state and won't let me modify the order or pay without it. I'm afraid of canceling the order and loosing the coupon. So moral of the story make sure you put in all the required information!

Any update on this? It will make the difference in me buying FC3 or not.
