  1. Has anyone ever had trouble downloading off GitHub? I keep getting a connection timed out error. Tried different browsers. Turned off proxy in LAN setting. Firewall off. No luck. I just can’t get SRS to download. Had trouble with trying to get a mod off GitHub the other day too. Seems like a GitHub thing. Any help appreciated Cheers, Jason
  2. Well just ordered a new one. Guess I’ll know pretty quickly if it’s a hardware issue or not. I had my cable zip tied to the headset but there still seemed to be mild strain at the short cables end near the connector that seemed worrisome. I’m guessing that played out
  3. New headsets at HP are back ordered 2 weeks? That not the impression I got from the HP website
  4. It’s on an externally powered USB. Always has been
  5. Think you are correct Harlikwin. Runs fine in DCS at 60 hz but for the first time ever I then had to fiddle with the USB as it kept saying isn’t connected to high speed USB when it was. Are you getting yours replaced?
  6. So I must say my Reverb had been performing flawlessly since mid August. All of a sudden today mid flight both Screens went black. I could see it was still tracking though. I figured crap...screens are shot. Tracking is occurring in the WMR portal but keeps cycling as if trying to connect. I just figured the headset display is dead. Interestingly enough, if I switch the refresh rate from 90 to 60 in the WMR settings, the headset fired right up and works, albeit a lower and crummy refresh rate. Tried reinstalling NVIDIA drivers. No luck. Only other change is SteamVR updated to 1.9.5 beta though I don’t think that’s it because I never even fire up SteamVR and it happens in WMR portal at 90 hz Anyone got any thoughts? Cheers and happy thanksgiving, Jason
  7. Hi Vyrtuoz, I tried doing your above suggestion for several of the missing tiles and it worked. Unfortunately there still seem to be some I am having the same error thrown when trying to download. I was curious if you heard back from the creator of mapview? Thanks, Jason
  8. I’m guessing I would uncheck the delete or clean files button when I regenerate?
  9. Hi guys, Just recently started using Mapview to create textures for Tacview and in general it works great. I find however that when I create the images I will get a few errors and this leaves a few blank or white spots on the map in Tacview. Again its like 1-2% of the tiles. I couldn't find a forum or place to try and track down how to remedy this or why it happens. Any guidance? Thanks in advance, Jason
  10. Is the overclock just in reference to the GPU or CPU? Or both? Thanks BIGNEWY And yes room pretty well lit. I added more light but didn’t help
  11. Hi BigNewy, So I tried deleting my FXO and metashaders2 and initially the GPU frametime seemed to stabilize and be balanced for a little while. Then it returned to the every other second spike as before. I then tried deleting the scripts folder and restarted. Again it seemed to stabilize things for 5 minutes or so and then back to the spikes. I've attached my logs. If you need more please let me know. Thanks, Jason dcs.txt debrief.txt
  12. I do have motion reprojection activated though I discovered it looks like steam had turned it off in an update apparently.
  13. Thanks for getting back to me. I’ll rename the scripts and give that a shot. If that doesn’t work I’m happy to attach my logs. Embarrassed to admit though, I’m not quite sure where to find them. I’ve never had to before. Are there some instructions or a guide on where or how to do that you could point me towards?
  14. Eagle, are you also seeing the GPU frametime bounce around every other second on the beta and be smooth and level on the stable version?
  15. Please keep me posted
  16. I’ll certainly try it. I’m curious about the cameras...do they only control the XYZ axis? I’ve noticed I can cover both cameras and rotational view seems unaffected
  17. Hi eagle, Guess it’s been mostly in the spitfire (custom mission) and F-18. Also tried the P-51 on the stable release. I feel like it happens in the main hanger too. Very frustrating. Cheers Jason
  18. Addendum- The view flickering happens even in the stable release. And actually I am questioning whether or not it happens in the SteamVR room too. So maybe the problem is there. Anyone else having any issue like this? Interestingly enough, I noticed that the every other second throttling issue with my GPU frametime doesn't happen in the stable release like it does in the beta. This also seemed to be a new thing over the last couple updates. Anyone find a solution for the picture/link below as well? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=254023 thanks Jason
  19. Hi guys, gonna desperately try and reach out again for help here. Been away from DCS for a few weeks and now I’m encountering a problem that makes flying an extreme chore. Couple times every minute my view suddenly jerks and changes and my viewpoint/center point often changes. Sometimes it just briefly flashed as if I’m looking at the floor of the cockpit or something and then snaps back. And sometimes it recenters my view to something else entirely. I don’t believe it’s a tracking issue because my tracking otherwise seems buttery smooth. Light in my room hasn’t changed and adding more light didn’t help. This doesn’t happen in the Steam House or WMR room. Unfortunately I don’t really run any other VR programs to test. I should have specified this is in DCS latest beta with SteamVR beta and WMR beta for steam. I also don’t see any key info that would be mucking with the views. I’m downloading the stable DCS to see if it happens there too as I wasn’t having this issue a month ago. Guess I’m trying to figure out if it’s a headset issue, DCS issue or steam. Any help would be most appreciated as I seem to be grounded til I get this resolved. Thanks Jason
  20. Hi guys, I've been away from DCS for a few weeks due to work but when I returned I have recently run into two new problems with my Reverb. First, my VR GPU frametime seems to be in a cyclical rhythmic fluctuation which it never did before. This happens even in the main hangar as the attached photo will show. I read the other thread in the VR issues forum and disabled my ESET antivirus and added my DCS and Steam folders to exclusion from the security software. Overall my VR performance is ok but definitely seems degraded from where it was. I can only suspect this may have something to do with it. For the record, lowering my in game settings or hitting the default VR did nothing to change the GPU frame time ironically. Second issue which is new, I've never had any tracking issues with my Reverb. I'm now getting fairly but usually brief random changes of view within the cockpit. Almost as if the view "snaps" to some other point. I also have to recenter my view a lot more frequently than I ever did due to these. The tracking otherwise seems very fluid so I am not convinced its a lighting or tracking issue but maybe I am wrong. let me just say adding more light in the room didn't help. I am running the latest DCS Beta, latest Steam VR beta and latest WMR Beta for steam. I don't know if one of these updates introduced these bugs or its something different. I don't really use VR for any other apps although I suppose I could download some just to see if the view issue happens there too. Any advice or guidance as always is greatly appreciated. Cheers Jason
  21. Yea I use the beta steam VR and beta WMR for steam
  22. Ok cool eagle. Glad I’m not the only one and hopefully it’s something that self resolves and not a problem that needs to be chased down
  23. Is anyone else running into a problem where your in cockpit view will suddenly change dramatically? Almost as if you were snapping to a new view point in the cockpit. It usually only last a fraction of a second and returns. I’ve never had this issue before. I figured it was a tracking issue but my setup hasn’t changed and the light is the same. Besides I’ve never had a tracking issue before. I almost feel like it must be related to either a SteamVR update or the DCS update but I could be totally wrong. Any guidance or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jason
  24. Hey guys, been out of the loop for a bit. Has WMR been incorporated into the newest beta so that SteamVr is no longer necessary for the reverb? Or am I misunderstanding the purpose of the new WMR debug tool released? Thanks, Jason
