I'd have to agree with Night. an AWACS aircraft could be insanely useful compared to a C-17... if the feature to allow multiple people per aircraft ever is released. AWAC's could become VITAL to air operations. Be honest. Trying to talk to the computer AWAC's might as well be the same as standing in the middle of medical waste.

@Jazjar, Well, An i7 is an i7 any way you look at. Overclocked or not, your 2600 is still powerful as hell. My old Desktop, about... 2008'ish I think? Can still chug along with a i7-920 just as well as my new Desktop can. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/31

I remember watching the History Channel as a kid ( I was a weird kid) And hearing something about the Aurora being a Hypersonic bomber, designed to basically drop a JDAM anywhere in the world in under 3 hours. Seems like another Pentagon Myth TBH.

I'd be for Civilian Aircraft. I can see some pretty cool missions taking place actually with them. Stuff like the Ruskies guarding their border from NATO, while at the same time civilian aircraft fly over. And for those saying the map is too small, ARMA 2 [With its full non-existant flight models] even had modelers make Civilian aircraft. Yes, you could fly from one side to another in five seconds... But it still helped the simulation aspect a bunch. I suppose before implementing a full Civilian aircraft, ED should try with a Transport bird first. C-17 would fit fantastically IMO.

Progress so far looks amazing. Can't wait to VTOL...

Has The FC3 team given us a date on this?

Sorry if this has already been posted, just curious. Will FC3's F15C Ever become its *Own* Module? I'd really love to pick it up, but I already dumped 40$ on The A10C, and I'd love to refrain from spending 16$ on the A10A... A downgraded version... Apologies if I sound cheap.
