Need help, im on v1.0, I downloaded a user made campaign, but left-win-home doesnt work, what am I doing wrong? I hear the switches, and the door closes and the abris works but nothing else, all black. The campaign is supposed to be 1.0 also. TY

Hi, what are the cockpits like? I tried to find screenshots but couldnt.

There is some stuff at www.lockonfiles.com but those are just external models with the same flightmodel and cockpit as the already existing planes. The next aircraft to be released by Eagle Dynamics is the A-10C, but it will be a completely new product, not an add on.

Good graphics is VERY important for many of us, it wouldnt be the same feeling without it. For me the visuals add to the feeling of flight and you cant expect to experience that on a computer below the system requirements (cos you will get 12 fps just like you said) and not having given yourself enough time to learn it (cos you will crash before you get to experience it) My point is: Pretty graphics = GOOD (This reply was intended for chrome)

Try again when you have the computer to run it, it sounds like you were running it under the minimum system requirements. I didnt like BS the first time around, I gave up, I didnt have enough patience, tried it again a few months later and now I UNDERSTAND and I love BS. My problem wasnt hardware though, but lack of patience. Just save it until you have a computer that can run it. Trust us, if you try again, a more HUMBLE attempt I think you will understand too. You have to be humble to learn this sim.

Im not saying I wont buy it, I will get it and look just as stupid as everyone else reaching for my keyboard raising the gears while using my 400-500 dollar HOTAS :P Besides everyone I know thinks just HAVING a HOTAS is stupid so... maybe it comes with the hobby :) (yeah I sometimes hide my HOTAS when I have visitors, especially girls)

Ok sure im not an A-10 pilot. But you have to admit it still looks stupid!

ROFL FAIL at 5:50 :P When you demo your HOTAS make sure you dont need to use the keyboard for gear up, and if you do, dont put that part in the video :P But yeah I admit I want one even though the one I have can still do everything I need and seems to be more ergonomic too.

Yes I was thinking about HDR, so finally I can get some use for the gtx 470 :D Yeah I agree waiting is best since its not out yet and the prices will be better by the time its out.

I could be wrong now, but that targeting diamond (you probably mean for ground targets) is supposed to be a lased target. So someone is pointing a laser at that spot and the onboard systems are detecting it for you :)

I had a GT8800 and recently changed to a Geforce GTX 470 and I can confirm and agree with everyone else that for these sims the GPU that most users have will not be the limiting factor. Yes I get to have everything maxed out and its very smooth, but I didnt see any difference in the issues that really bothered me before the GPU switch for FC2 and BS, the performance issues I had before are still there, so its definately CPU/RAM/MB dependant for most users, for me it definately is. I dont know about the warthog though, it seems to have some new effects.. See GAs teaser :)

My wishes: Put a good amount of time into performance (fps) and stability. AND release it SOON LOL hehe yeah I know those two dont mix, but still one can dream. Make lots and lots of missions and make the campaigns LONG cos I dont like to make my own missions so much, I usually play yours, and there needs to be more of them. Maybe some cool CAS missions where I get live information on the radio from someone on the ground and then I lase the targets he describes with the litening pod for incoming bombers. Something like that if it can be done would be awesome. Better smoke and perhaps better or new fire. The fire isnt that bad though. But yeah, the most important thing for me is performance and stability, I want to be able to use that litening pod without my computer crying in pain, and the controls getting jerky, and I want to exit the game myself, not always crash out like I did in old Lockon :) One more wish: Tell us NOW what the next dcs plane is!! PLEEEEEASE! :)

FC2 is excellent! When I played LOMAC, even patched, I usually never exited LOMAC myself, it always crashed sooner or later. Almost every time! It was very unstable for me. FC2 is completely stable, I have now 30 hours in it and not a single crash. No bugs. Nothing :) Get FC2!

If you have flown the F-15 campaign in FC2 then you have taken off and landed MANY times on the runway west of Kutasi (Georgia). I was looking at google earth, bored, and found the Kutasi runway, very easy to find if you have flown the F-15 campaign. There are a few su25s (I think) parked. But one thing you can see is three long rows of craters crossing the runway. Anyone know the story behind this? Who did this and when? (russia?)

You guys should wait.. You havent even read a single review, everything are previews, and previews can be deceptive since they only let some chosen loyal followers, business partners (ED?) or people who already are believers have a try at the product, and often the person doing the preview feels obligated to give good opinions since they feel honored or in debt to have been chosen to try this product when so few others have.. Remember we dont know what deal (if any) ED has with TM, maybe thats where all the positive buzz comes from, and remember we are in EDs A-10C Warthog forum! Take it with a grain of salt, use your heads LOL you are spending that much money on something that hasnt been reviewed.

Also, since you havent used a flightsim for ten years, get TrackIR. Trust me, it will make a huge difference.
