Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
FlyNate replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I WANT THE VARK REALLY BAD!!! An F-111D/E or even F would be great. That would be a fun pit to build and fly with a friend. We need 2-seat aircraft with all avionics working for 2-seat pit building. I love my Hog, and it is definitely my favorite, but I would love to build an F-111 pit and do Night-Time Bombing with the radar or PAVETACK Pod -
Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
FlyNate replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Top Gun is sooooo over with, but still a great flick tho... Kidding brother. I tend to agree with you, but an F-4 with different versions could please a larger crowd (USN and USAF flyers). It would be fun to pair with the Huey as well. No matter what the next bird is, I think its time DCS modeled a two-seat airplane with front and back pits fully functional. -
Vehicle Upgrade Pack 1 for DCS:World

I would gladly donate but the download is messed up... -
Much appreciated and congrats my friend!!! I have been married almost 8 years now. I wish you the best. I found something that will work but I'd rather have the file you are making. I'll see how this file goes that I found and it might make a good temp until yours is finished. CONGRATS AGAIN BROTHER!!!!!

I NEED PLANS for the AN/ARC-164 PLEASE. I am CnC'ing my own panels and am having a hard time finding plans for the ARC-164. Does anyone happen to have a link they are willing to post for me? It would be much appreciated. I want to make the version of the 164 with digital readout like in the A-10C in-game... THANKS SO MUCH :helpsmilie:

Agreed, and thanks ;)

I apologize to you as well for my previous posts, but why not something like a biweekly official update post? Just asking out of curiosity...
-
Oh ok, thank you. Sorry again lol
-
I had to look but it's there in very small print. I sincerely apologize and disregard. I overlooked that, as it is hard to see, lol. Thanks for the info you did give, and I apologize for my words.
-
I would also like to know. And I do apologize
-
Again, I didn't know that, that's why I ask questions in the forum. Is there a way to change the date on the post? I would have read it long ago if it had a current date on it.
-
This guy has it figured out lol. I'm with him :pilotfly:

Notice the line in post 1 that says: "None of this is 100% official..." And also, notice the date. All I'm saying is how about some official info and updates to satisfy people? Some official info would be nice, and I don't want to have to interpret what I think may happen by reading thru all of the "silly assumptions" and a non official post from several years ago. Communication is key, and new customers join the DCS community all the time and end up just as interested in DCS as the older guys. No doubt they have created a wonderful sim. But let's see some new info in regular official updates, because I doubt (like myself) that they will read through a 400 page conversation between hundreds of people just to see how many more years they will have to wait for another map. I think that might cure the "silly assumption" issue you are having. Then you would simply have questions, and again, they would be answered regularly. Often moaning and groaning IS misinterpreted, but the customer is always right, and all we want is info on a game that we gladly build cockpits for, share our own notes, and spend money on. Many of us are building cockpits in our homes because we finally have the the software capable of an accurate military aircraft, and some official news on progress would be nice. That's all I meant by that. No need to talk down to anyone
-
Lol, I agree with you. This some is great and has spread like a wild fire in the flightsim community. I am pleased with it, and it blows the original LockOn away, but many of us certainly would like current info that is updated regularly.
-
I did not know that, that's why I asked. And if they would post more updates more often, people would be less inclined to make "silly assumptions." It's a cycle that has to be broken so I guess I understand. I don't have the time to read all 400 pages of this topic, but I follow as best I can. I hope it's worth the wait. It would be nice to have four, five, or maybe even more maps to choose from in the future. Thanks for the info. Any idea if they plan to incorporate the area of the original LockOn map? Anything would be great though.
-
To be honest, considering the time it has taken to make Nevada, I fear that may be all we will ever have, and Georgiia. I would be happy just to have the original LockOn map reworked and added to the Georgia map. Unfortunately, if Nevada ever does come out, it would take several more years to see any other maps if we see any more at all. Just an assumption but if anyone has the inside scoop on map plans, I'm all ears...

I agree. I fly A-10C and I think Red Flag would be loads of fun, especially in multiplayer if we had someone to play AWACS. I'll be honest though, I'd much rather have Iraq. It opens up opportunities for many mission types, Desert Storm, OIF, and even fictional scenarios. Afghanistan would be great as well. We could make real, modern missions and again there are countless fictional scenarios to be played. That would be fun in Black Shark or MI8 too, even the upcoming F/A-18. I'm kind of confused as to why this wasn't done from the start, or at least planned. Anyone know why? Has this even been considered?

lol, ok thanks

I would love to have more real skins for mission editing. Below is a link to a B-52 pic. Would anyone be interested in making this skin for the DCSW AI B-52H? I REALLY want a 93rd BS BUFF skin. This particular BUFF (1017) "MY BABY II" is the current commander's plane. He is a dear friend of mine and I would love to have this done. I have no skills in this department, lol, and this is another favor that I would gladly CnC an A-10C panel or two in return for... I love the realistic textures that are unit specific for some of the fighters, but we need textures options like that for all aircraft. Why hasn't ED done this?

Would anyone in the DCS community be interested in developing a script for use in the editor that could simulate an EW function? What I mean is it would be nice to have a C-130 or E-3 that could jam enemy radars and sensors on command. This is a function that would add a great deal to realism and mission complexity. Something that would be really nice to go with it would be an E-3 without a dish on top, or an EA-6B, or EC-130. If such a script is possible, I would be ok with using the default C-130 to simulate the EC-130. I hope someone out there has the know-how to make this. If someone would be interested and willing to do it, I would definitely be in there debt, and possibly be willing to CnC a couple of A-10C panels in return...:smilewink: Any thoughts guys? :helpsmilie:

Somewhere in the endless sea of updates, the A-10C SP Campaigns were narrowed down to one. I don't know which update did this, but I really want the other SP Campaigns back. Does anyone have them? I would love to have a copy... Also, is ED making any more SP Campaigns for A-10C?

No, well maybe. Just making a large multiplayer desert storm era mission for my squadron. Will use A-10C, FC3, and Huey. All multiplayer
