Mine doesn't, never has, even though its all been done correctly. Any issues with TARS on DCS v1.2.7 and TS3 v3.0.10.1 ? I would give anything to get mine working. The guys in my SQDN had problems too. What are we doing wrong? Is anyone willing to get on TS3 next Friday night and help us get it working?

I know, but if you happen to see any, please let me know if you dont mind. I have been trying to find old military panels and real parts to get switches and other parts out of them, but have had no luck. The best I can do is find switches on ebay here and there. I just dont know where to look.

I am. This is what I was talking about.

lol, yeah, and we live in the same town... See you next Saturday! Don't work too hard

Ok. Lol, yeah, marriage and children have definitely taken their toll on flying money, lol. I was wounded in Iraq and now I live off of my disability, so money is even tighter over the last few years. I volunteer at the museum on Barksdale AFB to get out of the house a little. I hoping they will let me display my sim for a little while this summer if I can get it done. Hopefully I can get some panels sold and get it finished. I need $399 for a seat, $300 for Lilliput monitors, and about another grand or two to finish other things. Hopefully it works out. I finally found the right font so the panels are looking great.

Prices vary for each panel. If you have a certain one in mind let me know and I'll gladly give a price. And will sell considerably cheaper to Military and Veterans. I love to fly as well, and I even have a pilots license, but I have a lot of fun playing with the technical aspect of flightsims. I've been a flightsimmer since the first MSFS, but DCS is the most fun for me. I would rather make my own panels instead of someone doing it for me. That's awesome though. You should do a school project and finish your whole pit that way, lol.

:music_whistling: I have a CnC machine and I am willing to make A-10C panels at a reasonable price. I need to generate some funds to finish my own Hogpit. I have plans by ReactorOne for all A-10C panels, and they are quite accurate. My dad and I compared the plans to the real A-10C simulator at Barksdale AFB back in August 2013 before the 47th FS was shut down. Will begin ELEC PWR PAN run this weekend 25JAN2014. PM if interested. Will do a run of each the 4 panels I already have loaded into CnC, and I am working on CDU on the side. Sorry guys, but I became overwhelmed in a very short amount of time and not all panels are digitized into my CnC software just yet. ALL PANELS COME WITH OR WITHOUT SWITCHES AND BACKLIGHTING. Your choice. I NOW HAVE CORRECT FONT... THESE PICS ARE OLD. PM FOR QUESTIONS AND PRICE. I have these already loaded: AUX NAV PANEL - 2nd ELEC PWR PANEL - run begins 25 JAN 2014 FUEL PANEL - 3rd SAS PANEL - 4th CDU in the works - will be 5th, followed by UFC Located in the USA. PLEASE HELP TO FINISH MY SIM  TANKS GUYS!!!

What did you use for the stick extention and how did you bend it? I'm currently experimenting for my pit and not having much luck...
-
Lol, I had already found and purchased exactly that before you posted your reply. As for the export, that's exactly what I needed! Thanks so much!

OK Thanks. Just wanted to put it in a place where it would be seen...

I am temporarily using an older 1360x768 Samsung LCD TV for a monitor until my Hog-pit is finished. I used double-sided tape to attach my Cougar MFD Controllers to the bottom left and right corners of the monitor, and edited my MonitorSetup.lua file to always have the A-10C MFCDs in their respective places to simulate having real MFCDs. They get in the way a little here and there, but better than nothing at all and they are only temporary. I purchased a TFT 3.5" LCD Screen with a default resolution of 320x240 and connects via an AV plug. It runs on a 12v 1A power supply and works great when I plug my DVD player into it. I found a schematic of how to build a VGA to AV adapter. I have completed construction of my CDU and want to use it for the display. I need some SERIOUS help to achieve this, so someone please help me! I cannot get anything to show on the screen at all, and I think I can get the CDU display on it if I knew a little morre about MonitorSetup.lua. The "Dummies' Guide for MonitorSetup.lua" is great! That's what I used to setup my "piggy-back" MFCDs, But I need a "Complete Dumb@ss Guide to MonitorSetup" I feel lost as I could possibly be and I am going crazy wishing my CDU would have a functioning display. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! Thanks Guys

How do I add the default F-4E to the US Aircraft list? Then I could make a US paint scheme and have an American WW from Desert Storm :music_whistling: Can such a thing even be done?
-
I'll just tell you guys what I want to do and you can tell me if it can or cannot be done. If so how do i do it?... I want to make the German F-4E appear on the US aircraft list in the editor for use as an F-4 WW. I need the voice to be the usual American voice and all. The only thing left is the paint, but that's the easy part. I wAnt to use it in some Desert Storm and Cold War "what if"-type missions from the 80s to early 90s when the Hogs beautiful in camo paint... The reason is, my SQDN will be hosting a joint multiplayer Desert Storm Anniversary mission in mid February (exact date to be announced very soon) and I wanted to add more realism. A-10C, FC3, Huey, and CA players will be invited to come together for a joint mission or two that will be based on Desert Storm events. **...that is using what we have available to recreate the feel of Desert Storm, we know it won't be perfect, but we will make the best of what we have to work with

Actually, I got it working fine. Copy your Scripts and Inputs folders from your DCS folder in User/Saved Games. Then paste them into the OpenBeta one. The only issue I have found is the wingmen don't do anything I tell them, lol.

When I give commands to AI flight members in A-10C I get no response... Clean install, no mods. All comms done correctly, what do I do?
-
I agree. That would be great, but I'm still holding out hope for an F-16C as nice as the A-10C from ED lol, and the radio voices sound like they have some accents but not all of them and they aren't that great. Also, I think it would be amazing for ED to add in there own radio function like TARS that is included in DCS. No one in my squadron, myself included, can get TARS to work at all, and I was thinking how great it would be to have the radios work realistically in multiplayer included in DCS by default. Hopefully not just wishful thinking... BTW, If someone could help me get TARS working, that would be great. Ill be on my squadron TS3 server most of the day, so if someone can help to get it working in 1.2.6 AND 1.2.7, that would be great. Send me a private message and I will send server info and password if anyone can help. Then I can pass the setup process on to my squadron members... Thanks guys!

What are the chances of ED adding more radio callsigns for DCS? I would love to double the number of callsigns to have more choices and add realism. I would love for them to add that into 1.2.7 if possible. Is there a way I can do it myself?
-
Ok. Thanks brother!

I am using Helios to run my Hogpit in 1.2.6 but I REALLY want to use 1.2.7 since the AAR has been fixed, and the weapon changes are nice. How do I make it happen?:helpsmilie:
-
I agree. Mine is in the same Eagle Dynamics folder and Helios is not working with 1.2.7 Now what?... Dont really know where to go from here.
-
I have a question... I downloaded 1.2.7 beta to play around with and I need to get Helios to work with it. It still works fine in 1.2.6 but how do I get it to work with 1.2.7 beta? My pit is useless in the beta without it lol.
-
I agree. The spread pattern should be barely larger than a vehicle. A 50 round burst should have no trouble destroying a T-55. And yes, I am using PAC as well. I've called in a few hogs in Iraq and I have to say, the spread on the target was minimal. Hopefully this can be fixed, I was wondering the same thing...

I need USB screens for my Hogpit. The 8" Lilliput screens are nice but I need something cheaper that fits the Cougar MFD controllers with the image filling the entire frame. I got my 3.5" CDU screen for $26  but the screens for the MFD are really high. What's a good USB monitor to use for MFCDs?
