Kudos to you sir! I saw the update log credited you for fixing aspects of the China pack!! -
Lately, I have been waiting , for any number of reasons, but I had a deal with Fox2 Productions. I promised ED I would by the map if they told me what that epic theme music was. Ten minutes later, I was buying the map! Thanks F2. Most expensive song I ever bought. The map? A bit constrained, but I knew that on purchase. Love the detail, less impressed with the breadth, looking forward to the additions particularly some blue bases, HINT: Al Udeid. You are including Al Udeid?......Right?

Thank you CH for your unceasing contributions to the DCS world! Another banger with the UK upgrade! -
FIrst off, let me congratulate on the very large update. At first blush, after a couple of hours of picking it over you got a LOT of it right from a visual perspective. I very much like the new landmarks. Jerusalem looks much better, and if not perfect, it has a much better appearance of the Jerusalem I remember. Thank you for fixing the Temple mount. It looks really good! The variety of new airports should make Asobo blush. The oil platforms are a great touch. Pat yourselves on the back, I think you did a real good job here and I am thoroughly grateful for the update. There are issues: Masada is still a sand dune (Grrr), and there are some really unusual disappearing textures in the plane revetments at Bir Hasanah. Cairo West still needs a proper tower. I am having difficulty, at first perusal, with finding structural evidence of the EG military in the 1st and 2nd AOR in the Sinai. I started to see some of the Israeli Installations fleshed out along the Negev border near Nitzana, the AD school, and the Camp Sharon Can't seem to get Print Screen to work, but I will try and find a way to send pics. Sorry

+1 Ditto -
I think there are some good things, particularly around the coast and the Suez canal - airports, terrain etc The southern Sinai and the high country leave a lot to be desired. Jerusalem and the temple mount looks like a collection of villages and a warehouse. Major features in the Dead Sea Valley are missing altogether. OVDA AB (et al) have issues with terrain collision. Other airfields AI taxi logic (El Arish, Cairo West) is ridiculous, taxing up to 30 minutes to taxi from ramp to active. The northern Sinai desert, particularly in the 2nd Division AOR is chock full of revetments, berms and other permanent defensive emplacements, that could have been easily added like in the Syria map. Likewise, multiple military installations in the Israeli Negev are missing. I think, right now, the Sinai is great for making videos and movies. It's been hard to put together a coherent campaign concept integrating all various assets available for the region. It's been frustrating because...well, promises were made to the community. It would be nice to know why they have been delayed or rescinded

How to win at BFM in the Mighty F-4E Phantom
aztec01 replied to Victory205's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
To be fair, in #205 you got outrageously lucky. He kept energy up and was repeatedly screaming around the circle towards your J-79's, and how he didn't stick a missile in you is beyond me. You looked to be nearly "falling out of the air slow". Your two saving graces were 1.)you accelerate MUCH faster than I thought you'd be able to and 2.) He ditched out of the fight at the end and gave you his tail to shoot at. I am surprised, that earlier, with as much overtake as he had on you why he didn't just go vertical (even obliquely) and just pounce again. You didn't so much outfight him, but you ran out his programming and outlasted him. Still, the kill in #238...M'mmmmMmmmm, chef's kiss! -
It needs a LOT. Read as: Airfields, southern Sinai mountain textures, ground/terrain object collisions, Upgrade urban areas - Jerusalem is little more than a farm community, Temple mount is a warehouse. The Sinai is FULL of revetments, berms, military bases all of which could be used as targets in scenarios. Egypt is pretty well done, near as I can tell but the Sinai desert is lacking

That did it. Thanks again!

Seeing that there are a lot of issues with the RB M-2000 as late. Has anyone else had their Mirage module disallowed? Is that something to due with the latest bugs? Is it related to issues with RB/ED? Is it a mod confliction issue?(It's never been before) Is a matter of simply re-installing? Yes, I have had the M-2000 for years, Access key and everything. (Thanks to mikko.1842! Problem solved)
