  1. For everyone, who mixing the MiG-21MF and the bis model's afterburner flames: The MF's R-13-300 engine has longer but narrower app 9-10 shockwave rings, while the bis model's R-25-300 engine has a wider flames, 6-7 shockwaves in max AB But the R-25-300 has the emergency, or "ChR" regime, when the flame lenght is going bigger. Here, the soloist take off with ChR (which is lit on automatickly, after when the plane reach a specific speed), the flame reached its maximum shape right before the plane take off, and we cane see it in another scene, when the plane tooke a tight turne. The three planes tooke off by max AB only.
  2. This is a good real engine stratup sound for the F-15C: This early F-15E has a same version of engine as the C models. Or:
  3. New AFM - new flight demo! Now, we need the EDGE, a good looking vortex/vapour simulation and a more relaistic afterburner modelling and that's all!
  4. Tragedy at the end, but you can see the Kolokol, Cobra, Stoper, high g turn, J-turn, etc etc.
  5. If it is a Su-27SK (which is the rarest modification I guess, maybe a few items are in the Indonesian AF) where is the refuel probe or the dual weapon launchers on the main wing pylons? The SK is the first "moltirole" export version of the Su-27 from the mid 90's. If the FC's Su-27 is a P or an S model, the display is same as in the MiG-29. Shows the same as the HUD shows. The S also has the dual pylon adapters on the wings. If it is an SM or SM3, there should be three main multicolor MFDs (with gauges below them in the SM and without gauges below them in the SM3). And it should has 12 hardpoints with dual launchers.
  6. When will we get the valid display symbols for the MiG-29, Su-27 and -33? Or what is the reason for the Lockon-style radar screen? I really didn't find any info on this grid-based tactical screen. The real display is here: http://gallery.greedykidz.net/get/990405/sf-avia_2011_compressed_ed-DSC_9949.jpg
  7. I would like a more realistic nozzle moving. Fully opened at idle - it is ok, fully closed in max dry power, maximal regime, or max RPM (called as you want) is also ok, but on max afterburner, the nozzles are opened full again, however, the pressure in the hydraulic actuators are working continously against the pressure inside the nozzle. A normal diamater at max AB is app. around 90% of the idle position, which is the 100. A fully opened (idle or stop position): http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-27SM/2327622/L/&sid=8c91ae78e823a4a2c8e659de9fb405a6 http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-27SM3/2295543/L/&sid=e60795ae8d53136cfd06c9c671095b78 And the max AB diameter: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-27.../2388438/L/&sid=81ccd280f5738cf99a027ce1ca7cfa37 http://www.airliners.net/photo/Ukraine---Air/Sukhoi-Su-27UB/2347627/L/&sid=81ccd280f5738cf99a027ce1ca7cfa37 http://russianplanes.net/id109081 It is true for any other airplanes too.
