I have flicked the switch to turn rockets on (switch behind the joy stick) Master arm is on. guns and cannons fire..all the gun fuse buttons are on but still unable to fire the rockets. I have tried the bomb release button to see if that would work. I do not see a key bind beyond emergency release for the rockets. Any help appreciated.

In instant action I can not seem to get the Persian Gulf Tour to load. It gets to Terrain Graphics Init:97,Persian Gulf.ng5 and stops. On another attempt it makes no progress loading. I'm running a i7-920 CPU, R9.390 video card, 24 Gigs of RAM, plenty of space on a 500 GB SSD. Windows 10. Not a beast of a system. So far everything else has been grand! Having a lot of fun! Was just wondering if this is on my end (do a repair in that case) or if others are having the problem.

I wonder if anyone will make a vf-1 Fire bird skin ala Top Gun.

I am unable to hide the joystick in the harrier or show pilot. I am wondering if these features are not implemented or if I have key binding problems. Also my frame rate counter is activated by Right control/scroll even if the field in options is entirely blank. Cant change it. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Sad to hear this I am late to this thread. I had wondered what happened to Jim and am sad that he has passed away...it was much too soon. I do not know of anyone that had his passion for bringing in new players and introducing them to the A-10C. He really loved that aircraft and his passion really shone through by his enthusiasm and his actions..he brought in so many new guys like myself..and before you knew it he had a crew up in the air and actually running some of the complex systems and doing the missions. His patience was exemplary..he really was a passionate teacher and mentor...there are some mighty big boots to fill. He is sorely missed.

I bought training missions from Maple Flag about 3 years ago or so...are the ones being sold on DCS the same? Do they update what I have already installed from Maple Flag? Thanks!

I'm glad I got in on when the sales where really nice...at least from a customer point of view lol. I think I got a few of my modules for about $15.00 I think those good old days are bygone!

Got the email today regarding the Bonus Point offer/sale. I purchased Nevada about a month or so ago and figured I would have 10.00 in Bonus points to use for todays sale. I have zero Bonus Points however. When I purchased Nevada I used $2.00 in bonus I had sitting in my account. Does that (using the $2.00) null and void the 10.00 in Nevada Bonus point rewards or was there a glitch? Thanks so much for any insight.

Same problem here. My account info tells me I own the plane. Guess I will try a manual install. It does not show up in the module manager...even planes I do not own show up for the option to purchase...just not the K4 seems to be missing. Got it now. I ran the non beta version of DCS and I think it initiated a repair or I accidentally hit repair option. Let it do it's thing. Made sure the K4 was in the non beta and then shut the game down. Started the 1.5 BETA and the K4 shows it has installed although it still does not show in the module manager. I know when I logged into the module manager for the first time it found all my modules shown in a small box with checkmarks if I recall correctly.

Thanks for the info! Currently looking for that sc-500 bomb and external fuel I've seen others use with the K4....have not been able to find anything in the mission editor yet so as to make a payload and nothing in the stock payload drop down. I'm sure I am just a bit rusty with the editor but any ideas on how I would go about this.

Just got the K4 and loving it....gets me thinking about the Dora. The K4 is still in BETA so I believe there is more to come including different weapon stores (machine gun pods hopefuly)! I was wondering how the Dora compares in this regard. I believe it has the ability to carry bombs etc....Just curious before the next sale LOL!

Picked it up yesterday! I like! Managed to get her up in the air on second try but I think I was lucky! Gonna go play with it some more! Just realized I had the takeoff assist to 100%. Turned that off and still managed (somehow) to get airborne! Only thing I could ask for is a comprehensive tutorial (although from watching auto start sequence I learned a bit). The campaign, so far....seems like unassisted exercises in the aircrafts operation. I love how nimble it feels. MY other ww2 aircraft is the Mustang and I love the contrast between them...very different animals!

Mig 21 not on flash sale? Is it pretty normal for a seasoned module not to go on sale with the rest of them. I believe I have seen new releases excluded before. Was telling a friend to pick up the Mig 21 on the flash sale then realized...uh-oh...its not included. Thanks! oops..perhaps a mod could move this to the correct forum. I boo-booed

Yep! I can't wait to see some store types....the P51 is quite fun to practice with the bombs and rockets. I think the take off and landing challenges are a big part of the appeal to these aircraft!

Good to hear everyone's feedback! I am continuing to check back and read them every so often. It is looking like I will pick this one up next sale.

Been looking at this bird for a while and was wondering how far along it is. Is it pretty refined with some work left to do or is it still fairly rough around the edges. Tough question to answer without being too specific but I am interested in what our community thinks. Hopefuly leads me to an answer that's in the ballpark. The Huey is calling my name also...just trying to decide. Ended up with the Huey before the sale ended. Know a few folks who fly it and got some good feed back. Still interested in this one though. Will keep my eyes peeled to see if folks have any input.

Did not see a read me included. I have not tried a mod such as this. How does it work in terms of activating it...deactivating it. Once it is installed is it there until you uninstall dcs or copy over with the backup I make before overwriting? It seems I should copy over the respective files (after making a back up)with the included files in the download? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Holbeach! I have had some moderate success with the s5M on light armored targets as well as limited success on parked air craft. I've faired a bit better with the s24B I'm running a stock mission that equips me with cluster bombs however no joy so far....I am trying to come in on a dive instead of S&L and I do get the pipper on target..I have a feeling I'm releasing from too low or wrong angle/distance....any advice for the cluster bombs when diving?....I have used them sparingly so far with some success on S&L.. Diving is providing a good challenge!
