After the russian version I bought now also the English version. After viewing some trainings I ask myself if its possible to extract the spooken text to a Textfile. This would be very helpful I think... Any ideas? I cannot edit the text in the editor. best regards, kaos.dll

Hmm I started to build a basic TB profile for BS but.... How to assign the LEFT shift ? Or the LEFT control ? It looks like that there is no differnce for TB for the left and the right shift key... :-(

issue solved. I've deleted all public folders because I don't need 'em. The Saitek SD try to open c:\users\public\documents\saitek sd6 profiles and if the folder don't exist the software crashes. After I created those folders and checked the registry setting it works. That's the reason why I say they do a very bad software development... ;) Thanks anyway.

BTW... from the FTP: SST_SD6_16_64_Software.exe 3236 KB 15:10:00 I don't think this is the complete SD6 software with 3 MB... That's another funny thing about Saitek... You get thousands of different versions. Each one with special bugs ;)

Yes there are some changes from XP to Vista and some from x86 to x64. But Microsoft released the developer information a long time ago and it's NO solution to change the OS. I use more then 3GB of RAM that's the reason why I need a 64bit system. The point is, Saitek make buggy software! (but great hardware) And if I stop reading/writing here I will be able to reinstall my products... ;-)

that's what I've downloaded now. You see it's the same SST for the Paddels and for the keyboard and a different one for the x52. Now I will uninstall all Saitek products, unplugg em and start over. (Saitek needs better software developers!)

I've used Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64.exe - 4260 KB Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64_Software_.exe - 18672 KB Saitek_Pro_Flight_Rudder_Pedals_SD6_64.exe - 2080 KB Saitek_SST_Software_64.exe - 21353 KB you see... Different file names, different versions etc. With XP and Vista x86 I only installed one SD version and it worked, too. I will uninstall everything and download the drivers from Saitek UK - maybe this will fix my issue. (and yes you can use the SD of the X52pro to programm the Rudder paddels)

Every product uses the same SD software. I use the X52pro, the Rudder Paddels and thr Gameing Keyboard. Each driver installed after that the SD

I've bought 4 GB of RAM and so I deceided to upgrade to Vista x64. Now my Saitek SD software won't start - it always crashes with "Pr0fileEditor.exe don't run". Any ideas about that? You can setup a multimonitor environment. But then the ABRIS will not be clickable. You can setup a TB environment and try to export all ABRIS data with LUA and include it to a TB profile.... If you do this, I will be your beta tester ;)

@Lasstmichdurch: Do you use applocale or have you installed the kyrillic language support? (do you see kyrillic letters in the activtion screen or only &&&&'s ???)

Ich bin Skype Fan, das ist auch das Tool welches i.d.R. immer an ist (auch wegen Telefon). Xfire macht nur Sinn wenn es sauber vom Spiel unterstützt wird - DCS vermutlich derzeit noch nicht. Ideal finde ich es einen TeamSpeak Server zu verwenden, also wenn man fliegen will einfach parallel in den TS Server connecten und dann kann man sich da absprechen. Einen TS Server kann ich zur Verfügung stellen.

Today my new RAM was delivered. I will setup my system tonight and I hope it will be stable.... For the benchmark: I would prefer to do the benchmark in 1024x768 or 1280x1024 ... My 22" cannot run 2048x1036 ;)

I also like to cover with a helo but there's a difference between the american and the russian millitary ideology of an attach helicopter. You can start an endless discussion what the better idea is. You can start a endless discussion if a cheap Vikhr is better that an expensive Hellfire etc. I'm not sure if this is important for us... We can start this discussion after the release of the Apache module :-)

No you can't and please buy the western version after release and support ED. It's great for us that they made it possible to download the russian version and I hope most of us will buy the western, too.

Oh sorry... the trip for about 1400€ is: 6 days Lufthansa good hotel in Moscow with half-board exclusive transfair to the airshow VIP seats Moscow city tour and Monino and Kubinka and all with german speaking tour guide so this a all-inklusive package. sure if you take a flight for about 200 Euro (as Groove mentioned) + the entry + a cheap motel if's possible to do this trip for about 600-700 Euro I think.

The DCS performance depents on singlecore-speed of a CPU so I think it will scale up quiet linear with the system speed. In the end of this week I should receive my new RAM and then I will do some benchmarks - with 2.4 and 3.2 GHz.

maybe someone post here a graphic configuration file for the benchmarking. best would be to use 1024x768 or 1280x1024 because this runs on every PC. Graphic settings should be default (no AA, etc) Then post the Results like: CPU @ CPU-Core Speed RAM Graphic OS like CPU: C2D E7200 @ 3.2 GHz RAM: 4 GB PC3-1333 GRAPHIC: Radeon 1900 XTX 512MB OS: Vista x64 This make it much easier to compair :-)

Hi there, normally I'm no big fried of overclocking but for DCS I tried it.... And it work fine. One of the best overclocking CPU is the C2D E7200 (45nm). If uses a high multiplicator of x9.5 and a default clock speed of 266 MHz. If you use a clock speed of 333 MHz the system runs stable without increase of the CPU or Northbride voltage. You will get 3.2 GHz like the E8500 with the only limitation of 3 MB cache instead of 6 MB. If you increase the vCore Voltage and the Northbridge Voltage a little bit (try 0.1V steps) you can use up to 400 MHz! For me 380 MHz runs stable, too. If you try to overclock, the first step will be a clock of 333 MHz. Then run prime95 and stress the computer for 1-2 hours. Prime95 should run without errors! Then highten with 20 MHz steps - if Prime95 don't run, highten the voltage. Have an eye on the CPU temperture with CoreTemp. A northbride cooler or heatpipe is also good. (normally you cannot toast your CPU but no warrenty from me ;)) Have fun. :)
