Sheez, thats pretty low, 100 feet !
As you said, thinking from the pilots seat - I would love 2 b there, but I still wouldn't wanna risk 30 million coz to give a pilot a rush. That last one was coming from the guy incharge.
Thanks for the quick response!
I still don't know what i wanna do for myself, but i'm interested in learning to do something like that.
I've downloaded Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition and I tried to make a database, its pretty hard to use I admit.
Whats Delphi 6 in terms of experience in programming?
Thanks.

I also found this one which looks pretty cool. It's the swiss airforce - its got some really nice shots going.

3Sqn Sven, thanks for the reply, what happened to you avatar and I don't know about you but if I was incharge of the RAAF I for sure wouldn't let 20+ million dollars be flying at 800km/h 10 metres above the ground :D
Cheers

Hello,
i was watching some videos of youtube of VERY low flying aircraft and some very weird stuff like, I saw one land on a road, and then one parked on a bridge. They were french mirage f-1s. Are these sorta stunts used to entertain soldiers or are they just breaking rules for the fun of it. Maybe there are no altitude restrictions? But these things were flying past cars in the desert and stuff. Good Watching.
Anyone know?
Hello
While searching the huge amounts of information on the internet :P
I found a pretty sweet site for reference images of planes. They might not be as detailed as some others, but it has some planes that other sites don't.

no hard feelings troff! i dont feel like it was jacked, even if i did it wasnt ur fault if no one liked my models :P
You and system are the last people I would be upset with, both of you help me a lot.
I think I will get in touch with you with that email link you gave. Do you have MSN?
Appreciate the response and I am also sorry if you felt offended by my misjudgement.

Here is what I finished up with, i think ill leave it there and start a new project. I know most of you are more interested in Troffmeister's Project, but who cares
Anyway here she is.
No I just get my drawings mounted as a background with Alt-B in the corresponding viewports. Then I use (mostly) cylinders to model the parts of the aircraft scaling and moving with vertices from an editable poly.
I have a question:
How would you go about modelling an open canopy? Because I can do a closed one, but not an open one.
Definitely.
I finished making the gears and detached part of the wings and vertical stabilitzer to make the rudder and flaps. Also added two stabs on the bottom of the fuselage just before the Afterburner nozzle.
i need to add the air brakes.
:D
That cleared thigns up a lot!
Thankyou! I'll have to find out how big my planes are then. most of the measurements i read are in feet though.
Good thing I have the internet! :P
Hello everybody.
I'd just like to show off some work - Obviously not lock on standard but its what i've been up to lately.
As some of you might know i've been steadily learning 3ds max with the help of a few members in this forum. You can probably see my threads still.. :noexpression:
Anyway. I made a couple of planes over the long weekend, the F-16, Rafale and the F-105 Thunderchief.
I'd like to share a picture of the F-16 I made. The F-16 is still wheel'less i just realised writing this, so i'll go and finish that off any minute now.
