I think ED should release some of the tools to let us still tweak Lock On..like to add cockpit models, more skin slots, fix some bugs, etc. If they don't it will be letting this game die! :(

Atleast its a name that actually refers to the aircraft. i tried naming a skin of mine once and I called it something really weird.. Keeping it to myself for, erm.. self-esteem :D

I can answer number 3! The map doesnt end as far as I know. It just has a loop of a couple of squares of map that can be seen forever. I positioned my f15 on the borders, leveled the a/c, max throttle and sped the game up by 5 times or something and it just went on and on, and on.. and on..and on........

I cancelled the program in the task manager and it closed well. I then reopened Vegas and it asked me to restore, so I did. :thumbup: Thanks

Hello this is more of a cry for help I just finished a 10 minute (lomac) vid, and tried rendering it over night. It spent 10 hours and 40 minutes getting to 70% and stopped. Don't flame me but I didnt save when I finished.:doh: Is there any way just to cancel the rendering thing? That seems to be the one that is frozen

Thats what I was wondering too. Maybe you get them as .3ds and we just have to export as .lom Perhaps that is the solution.

Hello everybody - more specifically system. I just wanted to post a picture of the model I made this arvo. Its purely practise as I want to become a modeler for the community. It's still being retouched and added to, I am aware that it is missing a few pieces, such as the hooks that attach it to the aircraft. I'm not sure what bomb it is, but its a paveway laser-guided something or other. Anyhow, here it is: Constructive critism pwease?

You could always edit the meinit.xml file to be able to fly the F/A-18C with the SU-27 Cockpit. You can set your takeoff point from an American Carrier, but the catapult won't work. unfortunately I don't think there is a way around the Su-27 Cockpit thing.

I'm not entirely sure I understood all that. So they do it from outside the a/c? I understand how they ignite it, and how it works.. (kinda) but Im more after how the pilot would switch on them from within the cockpit, if he, in actual fact does do this :smartass:
