Okay. I am making progress. I have my ANT working and my Ranger Knob working. I am not getting an indicator for my Joy_slider2 and Joy_RZ, they are not an option to manually assign. I am not finding a way to confirm my microstick works inside the foxy program to be more precise. Please advise!

Hello! Here is what I have at the moment. It needs help. I am using Saitek rudder pedals, HOTAS/TQS. At this moment the range knob works in DCS from the config menu. Why is that? Where do I need to put the "+"'s to get the ANT and micro stick recognized in DCS? Thanks again for the help! Cheers to you sir!

Good news! I got HOTAS CCP to work! I think it is was because I had my stick plugged into a USB 3.0 port and not a 2.0 port. Regardless, the CCP is up and running. I have tried unsuccessfully to attach screen shots, can someone give me a hand? Once that is done I can accurately ask some more questions! Excited to get this far! I have been at work for two days, sorry for the late response!

I neglected to tell you I had that selected in my prior post. I restarted the installation process, made double sure the admin box was checked, and I still get the same message.

Okay, so I got everything downloaded again. However, when I click on the HOTAS CCP, I get a warning message that states, "The device is not connected, unrecognized, or not installed properly. Error 13 Unable to read from device. The HOTAS shows up in Foxy, Joystick analyzer, Cougar viewer as working, but not the HOTAS Cougar Logical Flags program. I am following your steps from your thread to the letter. But I feel human error came into the mix. Delete and try again?

I am running out of buttons on my Cougar TQS/HOTAS setup. I need to take advantage of my / modifiers, i.e. /U, /M, /D. I also have an issue that my Radar range knob, ANT thumb wheel, and Radar cursor mircostick are not recognized in DCS. I have downloaded the TARGET software as well as the CTS program from Home Fries. I need someone to please walk me through the process step by step from the TARGET software to CTS, to having DCS recognize all the features my sticks have. Thank you very, very, much for your anticipated response.

I just received my Track IR w clip in the mail, only to be called into work the for the next couple days. Would anyone be so kind as to post some help info about setting it up and getting it ready? Do's, Don't's, must, must never do, etc? My hope is to unpack it, use the info that this great forum community provides and get flying! I tried my friend's Oculus Rift, it was amazing! Trouble is the cockpit resolution was a bit blurry. The HUD was fine, but I had to zoom in on the DDI's to see what was what. I then read the forums here and it came down to VR for the enveloping feel at the expense of clarity or TIR for clarity without the enveloping feel. It was a difficult decision. I am going to save up for the next generation VR which I hope will offer both. Anyway, thanks for upcoming advice and Moderator, please bump this to the right spot if I goofed. Take care guys!

I am in the same boat as you Rudel. I have not to repair it yet. The throttle detent from 100% to AB is about toast, it does not hold all the time. I have the part, but I am too nervous to take it apart. I have used my friends Warthog throttle, hands down I love my TQS.

I am also part of a dying breed. I don't want to replace my TM gear, it works just fine. Has anyone been able to get functionality of the micro mouse to work, or any of the turn knob/wheels in DCS? Thanks in advance. Nice foxy profile Rudel.

Got it, Throttle Designator controller! Thank you. So I have a TM TQS. Is there a way to activate the Radar Cursor feature? I would rather use that if at possible. I have noticed that that my range knob and radar elevation are not being detected. Is there a thread you can point me to? Thanks again, got a good lock with the AIM-7.

Hello guys, lots of good information out there on the radar. Keep it coming. I have watched Matt Wagner's video on firing the AIM-7 and I unable to move the parallel bars over the target blip like he does to achieve lock. I programed my stick to use the commands (Sensor control up, down, left, right) but it seems to be switching my radar modes instead. What am I doing wrong? Saw the thread title about having a hard time with the radar and took a chance the answer might be in here.

Thank you for the advice. I will post the results later. Beer and wings first! So, I have the latest version of DCS. I tried a repair and nothing changed. I deleted the missions, repaired and nothing changed. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and SU-25T with DCS world has words with the training briefing as it should. I installed P-51D and A-10C and I still get the screens I sent above. I have now opened a ticket with support. Not sure how quick they are. I am not in a super rush. Hey fellas, after a long break, I am getting back into this sim. I noticed when I loaded my training missions for A-10C and P-51D, the briefing pages are blank. I attached a couple pics for reference. On DCS World and FC3, the mission briefings are present. I included a snapshot of SU-25T for reference. I reinstalled P-51D to see if that would work, nope. I am assuming I am missing files. Any help, ideas, would be cool. Thanks for reading and happy hunting. ***New info, all my missions for the A10C in the briefing area are blank. I have unistalled and reinstalled without success.

I thought I might get flamed as other websites hammer you for not going through all 1000 forum pages to find an answer to your question that was answered a year or so ago. Thank you for the heads up on not using my microstick, saves me some time. I am still really new to all this so it is going to take me some time to get it going the way I like it. Thank you for the quick response. I do not run a TARGET profile and I do see my Thrustmaster under my device manager. When I went back into DCS I was able to select both engines and it says joyslider1 and joyZ. My throttle now works! Although my MAN RNG/CAG also controls my throttle as does my Z axis. Trying to figure that one out so I do not have to things controlling my engines. Next step is to get my microstick to work so I can not have to be so reliant on my mouse. Any ideas? Excited to be here and thank you for the help.

New guy so please keep the flames to a minimum if possible. I have been playing flight sims for a long time, the whole Microprose F-15 Series, Tornado, EF2000, F-22 TAW, SU-27, etc. I had the original TQS controllers as well. So yes, I am weathered. I have the Thrustmaster HOTAS and I want to get my Hog off the ground and get back in the fight. Trouble is, my throttle is not recognized in the game but is recognized in the TARGET (Z axis) program. I hope it is a simple thing I am overlooking. Any help would be great. I am running WIN7 64bit and used the Vista64 drivers to solve the USB in/out problem. Hope to join you all soon. I searched the forums to no avail. GWH:thumbup:
