I have played this mission twice and both times it says it was a draw. I have destroyed all the vehicles at the range, the BMP, and the four Zsu-23 that are shooting at the city. Overlord says to return to base and all targets have been destroyed. What am I missing? Thank you. I love the campaign.

I sort of figured it out. I made the flap axis into a three button switch. I got the idea and instructions from here., I hope this helps you. When you get it to work, you have to slowly move the flap axis to catch the buttons you programed in.

It looks like I will be buying a Viper stick. I read that some users feel the Viper trigger is not as good as they Warthog trigger. While others say it is a minimal difference. From what I can tell, they are both two stage triggers. My TM Cougar has a two stage trigger and if the Viper is similar to it, I will be just fine. Viper's are $229.00 new and the Warthog sticks are $240-280, are out of stock, and hard to find. So it makes sense to me to spend less to get a brand new stick that has also not been on the market for ten years. I am not holding my breath, but maybe they improved some of the innards. A lot of good information and discussion here! Based on the picture above I can see that Viper stick is angled forward. Is that because of the base? My question is, side by side are they the same stick or does the Viper come standard with a more pronounced angle that is enhanced by the base? Thank you in advance!

Thank you Scuba and Ziptie! I hope to get some standoff distance on SAM sites by trying these methods. The farther away I am from them the better! I was spoiled with HARM's and being able to launch JDAM's way out with the Hornet.

I am slowly getting up to speed on my Hog and its abilities. In Hornet at altitude, I can drop a JDAM from 15+ miles with great accuracy. In the Hog I can use the Tpod and mark points to get great accuracy, but at danger close range for some SAM's. I have read that JTAC missions use MGRS for CAS. Is it possible using the F10 map to find a SAM site, copy those coords down and load them into my JDAM? If so, how do I accomplish this? Is it the same procedure in Chuck's guides for JTAC and the CDC? I am hoping to have some standoff range in my Hog to address the SAM/AAA threats before I tank care (poor attempt at humor there) of the other helpless targets, LOL. Thank you all.

Thank you Chuck for updating the guide to include the A-10C II features, it is so valuable. I have a question for the group. When you look at pages (Adobe reader page numbers) 154-155, do they appear slightly blurry to you at all? When you compare them to pages 152-153, I can see a noticeable difference in the clarity. I saw this because when I magnify the zoom to 125%, the fonts gets worse on new pages 154-155 and not 152-153. I use a second monitor with Chuck's guide on the right and DCS straight ahead. I am not trying to be nit-picky. I print the controller pages to help me map my switches as I use a Virpil throttle. When the pages print, the clarity is just not there. I also want to point out that I do not have visual clarity of a 20yr old any more! Thanks again and good day to all of you.

Thank you for the replies. Here is what I have as requested. The two files are located in my saved games folder on my C: drive. The export.lua file has the local dcsRg... line that is referenced above. Raygun software is being run from my desktop as an .exe file. ****ALERT**** DO NOT RUN THE RAYGUN.EXE from the desktop, it will not work! Found the problem!!! I now have Raygun as a shortcut! Thank you all kind sirs! ​

No I can confirm the MC light does not work in game.The attached pics shows I have two green thumbs up in automatic warning and one green and one red for warning light on. If someone could post some screen shots of their lua files, locations, etc to help me, I would be most grateful. Thank you in advance.

I am still not able to get the Master Caution light to work. I followed what EasyEB did and I still get an object reference not set to an instance of an object. Frustrated.

Clearly I am doing something wrong to get the Master Caution light to work. I keep getting a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I DL'ed the Raygun 2.4 file and the instructions say, "Add these files to C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts". These files are the DCS-raygun.lua and the Export.lua. I added both files to the local directory. The buddy fox website is a bit hard to follow and appears to contradict the readme.txt instructions in the 2.4 folder. The website states: Copy the DCS-raygun.lua into your C:\Users%username%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts –directory (I did this, no problem) In that directory, open the “Export.lua” with a texteditor (eg notepad) and copy the line below to the end of that file: local dcsRg=require('lfs');dofile(dcsRg.writedir()..[[scripts\DCS-raygun.lua]]) I do not understand the last part though. what is "that" directory? The Script directory? If so, the Export.lua file it says to open only contains the above so I do not understand why it tells me to copy a line that already exists. I also copied the above line to the raygun.lua file and I still get the error above. I feel super dumb trying to figure this out. I am sure the solution is right in front of me. Any advice would be great. Thank you all. ***I'm also experiencing an issue when my computer goes into standby mode, the UFC does not wake up. Unplugging the UFC and plugging back in does not cause it to turn back on. I have disabled power management in all my USB ports so they cannot go into sleep mode and cause me issues. Anyone else experience this?***

Button conflict with BF UFC and Cougar joystick The issue I am having is that some of the buttons assignment like "Button 2" is the number 2 on the UFC key but it is also pinging my cougar joystick as button 2 saying it is already in use, in this case, weapon release. I did plug the UFC into a different USB port, same result. Any ideas? Thank you! ***Got it figured out, USB conflict***

I have managed to program my Hornet with the flap lever using the Virpil software. I am running into an issue with the Hog though. The MVR flap bind has been removed for some reason. So in the DCS controller setup I can only program flaps up and down. Trouble is, the flaps go from MVR to up or MVR to down. Does anyone have experience making the flaps work as intended? Is the solution within the Virpil software? In DCS? or both? Thank you in advance.

I am looking for some help with the MMJOY software. The links I have read on how to use it are pretty basic and I cannot find what I am looking for. I am trying to correct some "drift" in my Cougar microstick. I have put a little deadzone via the software and my cursor still drifts up on my MFD's. It makes targeting in AA and AG a bit difficult. I am open to any suggestions. Thank you!

Anyone know if it is possible to export the Russian RWR to a secondary display? I am able to export the radar from the Su27 and Mig29 and the targeting pod data from the Su25. Thanks in advance.:thumbup:
