    Thank you so much for the TM Cougar USB throttle upgrade and the new sensors for my stick. The USB upgrade solved the problem of microstick drift right away. If you are on the fence about upgrading, do it. :-)

    I am using two TM cougar MFD's with two 8" screens behind them. My DDI exports are working but the DDI's in the cockpit are now black, as if turned off. How do I correct this? Thank you in advance. This only occurs in stable DCS. In open beta, they repeat. This is true for the F-18 and the A-10. I have not fired up the Harrier yet.

    Thank you Gman, I never thought to do that until now. I will research the Warbird base and then see what I can find for my Cougar throttle in terms of sensor/parts to limp it along in the hopes TM re-releases an improved version. Thanks again.

    Out of curiosity, what makes VKB or Virpil better than TM on a quality level? I have a TM Cougar setup and do not own any VKB or Virpil products. Looking for an honest comparison of: quality of construction, materials used, fit/finish, and software if applicable. If I am going to dump $300 plus on a stick/throttle combo, I want the best. Thank you in advance.

    I hope that Thrustmaster releases the updated Cougar with the fixes that RogueSqdn mentioned as well as any other feedback others have given TM over the years. It is a good combo that continues to serve us well, it needs some love to continue the fight! The R&D is paid for which should theoretically cut down on costs of putting an updated set out there. I have upgraded my Cougar with the pots on my Cougar stick from rel4y and have been holding out on upgrading my throttle. I am nervous about opening it up and making a mistake, I do not have a spare. Still on the fence about it. Hopefully a fair amount of pre-orders for DCS F-16 came in to justify TM going forward with their plans. We should not forget the Falcon 4.0 BMS crowd as well! I feel the market is there and ready. I will gladly buy the set if they release it.

    Are you in the Axis Command screen? Mine is grayed out as well but I use the TDC horizontal and vertical axis option right below them. Can you provide a screenshot?

    Awesome thank you buddy, I figured you might know. After I get your new parts for my stick I will open up the throttle and check that out. It would not be an issue if I flew an F-22 and wanted to supercruise! Take care!

    Hello fellow pilots. My throttle goes through the detents until 80% or so, after that last click, the throttle falls forward all the way to 100%/Afterburner. It is not able to hold itself in place. I have the tension slider all the way right or left, don't remember which, but it is maxed. It does not help. So is this fixable? I would like to get the throttle to be able to hold itself in place again. Thank you guys, take care.:thumbup:

    Anyone else have this occurring? I followed Matt Wagner's video to the letter. C is the key binding for it. I had it mapped to a joystick button as well. I have a friend in a Harrier using a Tpod and since the Maverick seeker will not uncage, it cannot pick up the reflected laser energy. Laser code is correct. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you all.

    I have a TM Cougar TQS and I am needing some assistance with it in DCS. How do I slow down the slew rate of the microstick within the DCS controls section? I use the MS to lock up radar targets and for CCRP but the target diamond moves so fast. Any help would be great. Thank you! **Update** Did some work on the curve and so forth in the DCS controls menu. The A2G diamond moves just fine, but the A2A cursor moves a bit too slow now I have some more tinkering to do to find that happy medium. Stay tuned.

    Hello, how is the mircostick working out for you? I am needing some assistance with mine in DCS. How do I reduce the sensitivity of the mircostick within the DCS controls? I use the MS to lock up radar targets and for CCRP but the target diamond moves so fast. Any help would be great. Thank you!

    Great news! I used the manual calibration on the HOTAS CCP and my MicroStick works. It will needs some fine tuning but it works!!! SO happy right now!

    Thank you Rudel. I will try that link again. They gave me the run around a few days ago. It was the US Thrustmaster that wrote back to me and he gave me the same link. I told him to please forward it to the Europe office. We shall see. I watched a video about the replacement and I agree, I am going to look for a friend who is skilled in soldering. Take care.

    Hello all, After many faithful years of service, I believe the microstick finally gave out. It is no longer responsive in the HOTAS CCP. The button still works though. I have read that the throttle can be taken apart and then taking some compressed air and cleaning it out may work. First, Is there any other way to test that it is really dead? Second, where can I find spare parts for the cougar these days? Foxy (Reddog) is no longer around. I wish I would have bought a bunch of spare parts years ago and held on to them.     Houston, we have a problem..... Zero response from the microstick. It appears to be dead. Button 19 works no problem. Not sure I want to take it apart for just that, I have looked at your videos. I don't want to break a great throttle for something I can live without.
