Just to know, do you think my cpu is good? If DCS took use of multi-threading, then it would sure be, be as it is un-OC, is it good to have the kind of improvement you talked about?

Hi I'm willing to upgrade my gpu because I get 20/25 fps on servers with horrible settings (AIM-120s are freaking squares...). I'm NOT willing to pay more than 400$, and in a perfect world 300. I think i'll buy a GTX770, but i'm not sure. But I know that Nvidia will release GTX800s, but i'm not really willing to wait 2/3 months. I also know EDGE is coming towards the end of the year, but I think that hardware requirements can only be less (like using more than 2 cores). My SSD is new, and my cpu was guiven to me recently so i'm not upgrading that too. specs : I7 2600 NON-k (3.4Ghz) GPU : HD 7770 (I bought that for minecraft...) SSD : Kingston Hyper-X 3K 120Gb RAM : 8 Gb (limited to 8 by motherboard) Motherboard : shitty HP-made carmel-2 HDD : 1T 7200rpm Itachi (not sure about the brand) PSU : 525W (I'll also be upgraded :/ its literally new from 1.5 year...) OS : Win 7 I think thats all the specs I neede to give, tell me if you want more info

It is said to be in beta, but honestly it will stay as it is for a while as PFM got released. I don't know why they call it a beta.

F-18 all the way : If you need to do a sead far away in ennemy territory or take a sam down, it is a must. Such roles are monopolised by AIs (which fails 90% of the time because they jettinson every thing) as you saw if you played the F-15 campaing.

I completly agree that Combined arms isn't relevent in DCS as it currently is, but I got into DCS for planes, and they already have SOOOO much things to do that I don't see them integrating a tank sim.

You're in a TWS-capable plane right (F-15, maybe mig-29) otherwise it obviously won't work.

Right now, I don't think any plane would be a good opponent, but alongside the mig-21 there's 2 planes that are also coming that xould do the job (F-86 and a HAWK). Even if a Sabre would be pretty weak, its better than fighting a P-51.

Does it have missiles?? If no I doubt buying it with the Mig-21 and the HAWK.

I LOVE your videos. And in 1.2.7 tracks worked pretty good, at least for 1or2 hours, now it simply doen't works, even if you take off, in an other track I «forget» to kill a su-27 and than I get killed while I go to the next objective...

Just tried it, now i'm starting the plane and I crash into grass after 5 min when I had a 1h30 flight...

I had a pretty good game on the 104th and I wanted to replay it. It didn't worked out, all that I could see is the map, wathever I do. Than I searched on this forum and saw that I had to edit the track, so I unlocked external views. Still only the map. So I'd like to know how I could be able to AT LEAST see myself, and in a perfect world to see evrything, if possible.

FC3 is the best (you'll get the f-15 + the su-27 standalones (su-27 should be coming soon enough)). But F-15 if you don't want russian planes. CA isn't that usefull, as map makers are using big distances to separate teams, so you'll be spending your time driving/waiting for an aircraft to pass by.

I think that it would be a great idea for a 3rd party, but I don't want anything from ED util the F-18, or secondly edge.

A-120s D are also coming if you talk about future upgrades.
