From last wags posts, i think nevada was waiting on edge if i remember right. edit : With the completion of the airbase lights at Nellis and Creech, all major art and geometry components of the NTTR map are now complete. We are now waiting for the integration of EDGE and the new map data system into DCS to allow the importing of new maps such as the NTTR. (wags last post in NTTR thread)

Well...Soon there will be as much as DCS products : DCS : KA-50, A-10C, P-51 and FC3 (not full modules so i'll count it as one) BST : MI-8, F-86, Huey (I won't count cobra as its not a done) RRG : 1plane (don't remember wich one) VEAO : HAWK Leatherneck : mig-21 3rd parties are coming pretty hard and the amount of modules will increase by 66% after the summer :) (I just wish they were 80's, but thats me)

This works when you like cas, but if you are an A2A guy (like me) you' re stuck on the f-15/su-27 which are nice to fly (or will be) but are missing what makes DCS, so until the F-18 (or F-15E in the eventuallity it's almost done (LOL)) we are stuck on 2 options : trying a slow plane wich is a flying target or playing in an incomplete plane :cry: (but still when I saw the F-15 6 monts ago, I thought it was AMAZING, coming from Blazing angels or HAWKS world with BASIC controls and 3rd view.

I have no info on this, but I highly doubt it : one of the big challenges for the F-18 is the A2G radar, and I see no reason why ED would have spent time simulating it. I think it works more like Kh-58 (or wathever the actual name is) : you see the sources emiting radar, but no more, but this is just a guess.

Most games also release game not working/unplayable because of poor planification too. But I completly agree I can't think of how happy I would be if there was a date for the F-18. We can always dream lol.

As cichlidfan said, plus I' afraid of dcs turning in «blazing angels/gta» or other arcade, as one musn't expect console users to use joystick.

To what I know, the He 162 was the first «ejection seat». Although it was VERY simple : the under of the seat was reinforced, so if you were to eject, you had to put a nade under the seat after oppening the canopy XD. This was due to the fact that the engine was on top of the plane, making a «jumping out» exit as bad as crashing cuz you'd get sucked into the reactor.

Hi, I'd like to know about dcs pods and their functions. I know the TGP, but there is 3/4 more pods you can use. But those pods do not appeir in the manual (except the travel pod, that is completely useleff if I understood right). I looked for an answer on the forum, encyclopedia manual, but didn't find anything. If there's already a thread on this just post me the link. :) In short I want a list of the pods and their usage.

There is no 1 fan 770, only 2 or 3 fans versions.

May I ask why 2 fans, I'm considering upgrading me too to a 770

They do make a differance, but what I'd like is to run AA etc from the gpu, so that I get GREAT graphics. Even with the driver I'm really far from that.
