  1. Hi, Great job man! Really enjoyed your campaign!! A few ideas for the future: 1. Adding some carrier group tools in the air. An E2 aircraft for D/L and a tanker for recovery would be great (+you should set the TACAN channels according to Wags instructions for best performance). 2. Adding a mission where you need to drop a LGB on a target when you above the clouds. The JTAC will lase the target while you need to enter the TGT coordinates and drop the bomb in AUTO mode. 3. More bad weather missions. This missions are so much fun to fly. 4. More assets in the sky. Use the current missions and add layers... More Helicopters, strikes, etc. Overall, I really enjoyed your missions, thanks!

    RESET D/L

Note the red bogey contact. The SAM circles should stay... That's not a bug.
  3. Hi, After last patch that became much better, but still there are ghost targets on the SA after they were shot down. 1. How long does it take for a D/L to refresh (ghost targets stayed for minutes)? 2. Is there a way to 'reset' the data from the contributes? Thanks!
  4. Please - playingand editing with the LUAs files is a nightmare. Please create a normal tool for extracting, manually positioning and resizing external windows. I'd like to easily create a profiles for extracting my A10/F18/Ka50 MFDs Thank you!

  5. This Friday, Navy's last operational F-18C squadron was sundown in preparation for it's transition to a more advanced aircraft (F-18 super hornets) No doubt that the DCS F18C module made me (and probably others) love and respect this aircraft. Now it will conduct operational missions for the Navy only in the sim... https://news.usni.org/2019/02/04/navys-last-f-18-hornet-squadron-holds-sundown-ceremony-will-transition-to-super-hornet
  6. Well, I think the reactions here went a bit off :) Someone wrote, "You voiced a poorly researched opinion.", and I'd say that it's a fair claim. No doubt, for a more productive discussion I should have done more research and perhaps bringing up a Tacview Vs chart performance would be more beneficial. So, If this thread will bring up the level of the forum in general - that would be great. With that said, others wrote "-1, I smell a troll." - I see this particular message as SPAM and trolling. But problem is that it's the lowest representation of the general mood in many of the replies... And that's a shame. As you sure remember, there was a fighter pilot who mentioned in a video he's done about carrier landings that the drag with gear/flaps is too high... So the F.M is probably not perfect yet... In general, I think it's more useful to be constrictive. This thread can be used by people who already done some research to show possible F.M problems or on the contrary - shows what a great job ED have done. Any way, If there will be no productive discussion around the topic, I'd prefer that the admins will simply close this thread. It's already got to much attention and off topic replies. It's better to focus on relevant issues. P.S Good job to Lockheed Martins P.R... I thought that super cruise is only F22's feature. It was nice to learn more about this subject.
  7. David OC - Thanks for the chart! Very interesting. P.S guys, don't be so negative. The whole idea of this forum is to ask questions. I'm sure there are real life Hornet pilots here that can give more insights on the current F.M and engine performance. My reference is based only on the felling I'm getting in flying this jet (or other fighter jets) in other sims so don't get mad ;)
  8. Note that I fly above mach 1 without afterburner. I think that only the F22 can do that
  9. Hi, I feel that the F18 is over power. It feels to me that It's accelerating to quickly, climb to fast and can super cruise. would you agree?
  10. Great! Thanks!
  11. Ok... but I doubt that this Wednesday (or next one) when beta will become stable the problem will go away :)
  12. I'll use this threat to write a review. 1. Putting the sensor in place– EASY 4.5/5. In case you’ve got minimal technical skills, you won’t find any problem with following the VERY clear instructions in disassembling the throttle, pulling the old sensor and installing the new one. It will require the relevant screwdrivers to open the throttle but that’s it. 2. Re-calibration 4.9/5 – Since the installation doc came out, it seems that Thrustmasters updated their drivers. Perhaps It worth to update the install doc. Rather than that – SUPER EASY. Another thing – perhaps it worth to add a small explanation doc regarding the A10_calibration.txt file. People might want to “play” with the parameters by them self… It could be nice if the inside parameter could be explained (although with a bit of common sense and some trial and error – you get a grip of that very fast). 3. T/S with the sensor 5/5 – personally, I’ve had an issue that the sensor was drifting aside when released to the center. I’ve sent questions by mail and got answers almost immediately! The responses were SUPER clear. The support part is always a concern when buying something from a “small” business let alone a single person. I have to say it was absolutely wonderful! 4. How it feels 5/5 – GREAT GREAT GREAT. So much more precise than the original sensor. It so much easier to fine tune the cursor on the FCR,TGP, etc. Overall 10/5 - It's pretty annoying that you have to pay money for something that should have been good at the first place. BUT, this specific upgrade worth every penny. It’s not a hall sensor so I guess it won’t last as long as the original but it way more useful and appropriate for a 400$ system. I HIGHLY recommend it to all who got the Thrustmaster throttle and upset with their slew sensor. It making the system great again. ;)
  13. Hi, When I arrive to IP ZULU, I'm getting 3 locations. Then, I'm being asked to call when ready to get additional targets, an informative message appear ( "F10 ..." ), BUT, there is no F10 option in the comms menu. I've tried to destroy all enemy targets but nothing appears. Thanks
  14. You should ask them again ;) Anyway, I do want to be a better pilot. I really do... But more than that - I'd like not to get a heart attack while flying a sim :) Perhaps a GUI option? Heart attack/Black screen of death? That could be nice.
  15. Hi, It might sound funny but I'd like to raise the way the player "dies" in the game. When being hit by a missile that cause the pilots death, you're being "kicked" from the plain the loud sound of explosion and wind. That's for itself is a very unpleasant and even disturbing experience... Is there a way to do "soft" death - black screen or tactical map after death, and the player must hit F2 to return as a viewer... Another option is for the plane to stop reacting to user inputs and for the canopy to get a "damaged" in plane model... Thanks.
  16. Should appear regardless to selecting an AA waypoint. Should appear is BRA is selected.
  17. Hi, I've noticed that for the BRA function to work, an AA waypoint must be enabled. Is that a bug? Shouldn't we be able to get the BRA (after pressing it's unique push button) with out relation to the BULLSEYE?
  18. Hi, When using AIM9X that is not located directly on the wings - the seeker circle will follow only close to the HUD area (like with AIM9Ms)
  19. Guys, thanks for your great replays! You've all helped a lot!
  20. Hi, The bright map beneath the HSI makes it extremely hard to read and understand what it says. Is it possible to edit the font to be bolded/black, decrease only maps brightness (like in A-10C where is works great)? Thanks
  21. Hi, I've noticed that sometimes you have to hit targets with two (sometimes even three) missiles in order to bring them down (pretty much every Russian airplane). Does the damage amount of this weapons is wrong and they don't make enough damage as they should? Is the model damage of planes in DCS is wrong and they 'survive' too much? Is everything make sense and correct? What's your opinion/ideas/knowledge in this regard? Thanks.
  22. I didn't want to use the T.A.R.G.E.T on purpose. I prefer not to program the stick/throttle but the sim instead.
  23. I've used the code for the original line and it worked great! Thanks!!!
  24. Hi, I'd like to set my EAC toggle to act as the MASTER ARM toggle. in the A-10, when moved from the ARM position to the OFF position - it actually moves in the airplane. In the F-18C, moving from ARM to OFF does nothing. I'v looked the clickabledata.lua files and it seems to be different button types. How should I configure it so it would worked correctly? Thanks
