  1. EE version definitely. Better A2G capabilites would offer much more gameplay value and replayability. :)
  2. And if your net couldn't support it, you could always turn it off. This was a great way of handling the skins in MP.
  3. I hope they fix this in DCS2. It's such an important feature.
  4. What happend to that February newsletter? We were looking forward to the announcement. :)
  5. +1 Yeah, that and the lack of modern multi-role jets. 10 years of flying F-15 and Su-27 has proved to be a bit boring for me. :) My stick is resting in the closet for now.
  6. 60 euros is now pretty much the same as 60 dollars. Things just got way too expensive, very quickly. :)
  7. Personally I would not pay above 50$ for any video game, that is as far as I am willing to go. Otherwise I would just wait for a sale. As far as value, is there more effort required to make a DCS F-14 than it is to make a COD clone? Maybe. Does that mean anything to my wallet? No.
  8. I'm pretty confident that LNS won't go full retard and price it above $50. So far they've conducted their business in a smart way. :)
  9. What more could they possibly reveal? :) The other modules are supposed to be announced in April... No brakes on the hype train. :)
  10. One is modern! That is great news! F-16 confirmed?
  11. Gulf of Sidra! Combat theater! :)
  12. There is no way to have both at the same time. You can't have radar A2A and precision guided A2G at the same time in DCS. You'll have to wait for a new module of some sort. Maybe F-14B or more likely, the F/A-18C.
  13. F-16! :D Nah, it's probably just Corsair and Zero. The WW2 clues were quite obvious.
  14. Can't say I'm excited for yet another trainer... But I wish you good luck with your project! :)
  15. Nobody said it was. Your reading comprehension leaves a lot to be desired. :megalol:
  16. Copy, no hard feelings. Perhaps this should be clarified then: Are you hoping to include just the iron bombs upgrade or LANTIRN upgrade also? Thanks. :)
  17. 6 mavs on A-10 might be unrealistic, but LGB's on F-14 are not.
  18. I am not a F-14 expert, but IIRC the first F-14 to use LANTIRN was a B model, no? As a customer, I am most looking forward to a naval strike fighter and if this specific product doesn't have what I'm looking for, I'll simply not buy it and wait for a product that will have what I'm looking for. :) Currently DCS does not have a module that would bring a fast multi role that can fight it's way in, conduct a precision strike and fight it's way home. F-14B with LANTIRN would be the first such module and it would bring a feature that a lot of people have been asking for. Great opportunity for LNS, but it's their decision if they will implement it. But it is a customer's decision if they will buy the module.
  19. Voted "Yes, and I'd like capability included on release.". I'm not planning on buying it if it's not capable of self-designating PGMs. Pure fighters don't offer much gameplay value.
  20. Ground strike capability is not in question. Precision guided munitions are though.
  21. Or you know... You can mod it yourself for free. ;) Cmon, let's have some faith in them. They expanded their team, they have knowledge, experience and they stated that it's already in advanced stages. Let's be positive. :)
  22. It has not yet been confirmed that we're getting a Tomcat that can use LANTIRN. IIRC, not all B's were LANTIRN capable. Who knows about the carrier... F-18 is ways off.
  23. Hopefully this will make Red team coordiante their efforts a little better. That or no AWACS for them. :)
  24. +1 I also think this is the most likely one given that Tomcats actually fought here. If there's gonna be a combat campaign, it can't happen over a training ground at Miramar, can it? :smilewink:
