The question you want to ask yourself is: can your rig run 4k at high detail with no dropped frames. Do you have a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor with g-sync/freesync at 4k resolution? You should set that as your goal for EDGE. If you can pull off the above, then you're ready for EDGE.

Have evo and am happy. Would recommend putting everything onto the ssd, so don't limit yourself tip 128gb. Also, the more space you have, the more the firmware can optimize the data locations for faster speed and longer duration. I bought a 1tb drive for this reason. I only use 200gb on it.

I have never had good luck with the warthog's pinky buttons. Messes with track ir too.

Mission was called "pull the plug". One of the greatest missions ever for that game. I miss that game so much. It was one of my fondest memories growing up. Another great one was hellcats over the pacific from graphsim.

I was about to do the mod today, but I checked the Saitek control panel first. It seems like around the detent, the control of yaw is already very precise. There definitely is the bump to get over, but if you're very careful, going over it, you can maintain good control. Is there really that much benefit? I don't get it.

Will website ever be updated? It seems like it was designed in early 2000s. Not very exciting to look at, formatting is strange depending on screen size. It's a turn-off to newcomers.

I just got started in DCS, so I have plenty of time to finish the other modules before concerning myself with the half finished ones. I still bought every module regardless though.

I did not expect the MANPADs either. There are quite a few spread out along the return to Nalchik. Luckily I made it back with engines intact, but few electronics.

If ED can improve it so that it can almost rival arma, dcs would generate significant interest outside of the current userbase.

I can hardly understand what to do with it. No tutorials or training. And the fact that the mouse control is inverted makes it unplayable.
