  1. Maybe you can install the module from the command line: Using DCS_Updater to Install a Specific Module: In the Command Prompt Windows: Type: DCS_Updater.exe install <module> (ie DCS_Updater.exe install F-86F ) See also this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030
  2. That must have been amazing! Thanks for sharing this.
  3. I had the same problem and this solution worked for me, thank you!
  4. Really looking forward to flying this  It must feel like being one of the pilots in your youtube series "Four Months in the Life of a Spitfire IX Wing" :)
  5. Some clips of DCS Normandy alpha at different times during the day 3:30: 6:30 9:30: I don't have a good capturing tool, but will try to upload better videos later this week Ps thanks for the explanation, Chiclidfan!
  6. Very nice, Jabbers! I'll need to play a bit more with the settings, but even with everything on Medium on my pc I enjoy the map very much!
  7. But for an alpha release I am pretty impressed with the performance already
  8. I noticed the same. It runs less well than 1.5 or 2.0, but I guess that could be expected. I started with everything on high in 2560x1440, but went back a bit on some settings. Still testing the most optimal for me. I have Sapphire ATI R9 390 graphic card by the way, so not the newest card anyway.
  9. I have checked the static objects, but for now the only things wwii related objects seem to be the ground vehicles (part of the assets pack maybe?). The structures that I can choose from look too modern to me (but I don't have much experience with the editor, let alone the objects). I cannot find the ones that I showed in my pictures. All WiP, I'd say :)
  10. Hi Vander, Great to hear that you intend to do some missions again. I really enjoyed your RoF missions! I tried to make some shots of the objects around an airfield, hopefully this gives an idea: And Pointe du Hoc:
  11. I think you need a separate key for the alpha access.
  12. Your essays have really helped me a lot in handling the Spitfire, thank you so much for taking the time to write these. I always blamed the sim for my screw-ups :music_whistling:, but learning the theory behind it was a real eye opener
  13. I was flying the Spitfire yesterday and noticed the same, the engine was cutting out all the time and the low fuel pressure light came on when flying at a height of 5k. Handpumping helped at first instance, but the second time I could not get the pressure back. I tried a lot but nothing helped and the engine died. While gliding down I noticed two things: 1) Carburetor air intake control was in the forward position 2) Water radiator temperature was near zero I am not sure if the carburetor setting was causing the troubles, but I am pretty sure the temperature being low was bad. I think I accidentally hit a switch that switched off the auto radiator. The next take off I took better care of the carburetor setting and the radiator and did not have any any problems at all.
