Leatherneck Simulations Monthly Update - Februamarch 2015
Flycat replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Those guys were trained by US instructors, but never joint with them, because of political problem. After Iranian Revolution, all of instructors has left. That's the background of Iraq-Iran War. Try to search Iranian Revolution and Iran hostage crisis. In that crisis, USarmy lost two CH-53, one C-130 and 8 solider, in order to save the hostage but failed. In this way, shall they show their back to each other? -

There is a book by Osprey is talk about tomcat during Iraq-Iran war. Combat Aircraft 49 Iranian F-14 Tomcat Units in Combat https://ospreypublishing.com/iranian-f-14-tomcat-units-in-combat It's only 10 dollar for ebook, not very expensive. You can find the pilot only use one missile to shoot down 3 or 4 aircraft in this book. Phoenix is really awesome. -

Why corba use EST, it still have 9 hours to go and everyone knows he is in Poland. LOL And the HP of them now is only a picture? Is there any button on that page? However, thank you cobra. I can delete the dcs client and only wait your guys's great artwork and DCS2. The last question is: Do we have some "Cinematic Tools" for DCS just like other game? for example: Though, the crew and vehicle in this video just like plastic toys... -

This Monday or next Monday, that's a problem. -
Did it fix the bug of avionics in new patch? If it happens I need to reset the livery options and restart the game. Now I didn't meet it again, but can't confirm it was fixed. Thanks a lot. :)))))

...How can I explain that... In real world there is KC-135, KF-18, or KA-6D to refuel your tank. The internal tank and two fuel tank is used to cruise for nearly 60 minutes and combat for 2-5 minutes with afterburner. One mission is only intercept/cruise/ground attack few target. Fly to somewhere, attack someone and fly back then landing or refuel by some others. If you want to shoot down everyone in sky without refueling that's impossible. -

Dude, I've read your post 3 times, but I still strange why you said these. Based on different load, fuel and throttle, it has different combat radius. Or you only circle on sky and burn the fuel? This two digit want to show the terrain isn't big enough for two fuel tank and 100% internal tank. Will you launch off your jet from deck and fly it to the other corner of the map with full throttle? And we still need to take off on land airbase, because these isn't a carrier with launcher in dcs. And Persian Gulf? bro, Black sea have many toys that Persian guys never owned. In other words, you can play carrier ops with Iranian boys, Iraqi boys, Syria boys, Kosovars boys, Yugoslav boys, but others? Carrier is still carrier, not better than airbase on land/island, could not be sink. kkkkk However, it's still a simulator. That's the black sea area, with scale, a little larger than the map in dcs. -
blahblah I've read this article, very interesting and useful.

don't mind that problem, we don't have a large enough map to run out of these fuel tank. 930^2+340^2=990^2 600^2+610^2=855^2 :) -

Don't worry, D version's RIO have much more work to do. (But maybe it is a little difficult to do it in DCS) Navy officer won't let them only receive salary and in a daze in the cockpit. -

How To Successfully Get Launched Off A Carrier At Night In A F-14 Tomcat http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/how-to-successfully-get-launched-off-a-carrier-at-night-1686205138 Maybe we need a full-featured carrier in dcs and who want to be Flight Deck Coordinator? This blog is very interesting, I've added it into my bookmark. Although google reader have gone for many years and I didn't find a new RSS platform to instead it until now. Sad story, LOL -
