  1. Model the missiles as real as possible. If your missile sucks then find tactics to get it in WEZ. Game should not be balance that way. If they want balance then put platforms that are balanced.
  2. Your body counters shaking. So shaking of the body should not be modeled but the buffeting / shaking of the aircraft should be modeled.
  3. Ditto. Thanks
  4. Very nice Teka! So it appears that you can fire on multiple targets while in TWS? I guess the trick is to not STT a target to be able to fire on multiple targets? Also, if the pre-launch timer is 0 when I pickle my missile it will be pitbull off the rail correct? If I fire the missile in TWS the target will not get a hard lock unless the missile goes active correct? What is the typical range for AMRAAM in LOMAC with the firing jet and the target jet around 450knts 180 deg aspect same altitude, I'm talking about before the pre-launch timer is at 0?
  5. :clown_2: Basing the aircraft's ability on whether or not it can take off from frozen runway?:megalol:
  6. To win unconditionally, with out skill or honor. :(
  7. If you say so...
  8. Hacking is different than glitching. Hacking is making changes to to the program to get an advantage while glitching is using exploits or problems with the game to gain an advantage. They are both lame. 14 Dead men why don't you make an anti cheat program instead? Any one can hack, but beat the hackers, then you have got something.
  9. Unfortunately this thread has gone to cheating opposed to if they would agree or disagree that the options I mentioned would be helpful or not needed and why they think that way. Hopefully it will get back on track. This is intended mainly for those who play multiplayer.
  10. Dropping tanks is where you get your jet able to maneuver not only for BFM, but for SAM or A-A missile evasion. Depending on the situation.
  11. Very true, but the F-15's corner speed in this game is around 250 to 300 knts. This can be achieved with almost full aft stick deflection at max burner. So if your cornering and the above speeds and the opponent drops fuel he is going to be full aft stick deflection still out cornering you at around the same speed. Your options are to extend, exchange high aspect shots, or to try and keep out-cornering the bandit which you will lose. If you extend the G modeling will not allow you to turn back into the bandit hard, usually split-S is the only option if the bandit does not watch closure and bandit airspeed. If you try and extend into the vertical he has the advantage because he can climb faster and will may use the zoom to make the shot easier at those ranges. I do not dump fuel but I do get into the burner before the merge, this reduces fuel and gives me the option to use the vertical. I rarely use burner and air brake at the same time.
  12. I never said anyone was cheating, I don't know what is going on with that and I don't really care. I referenced that last thread because it was an issue brought up, but I started this one to keep the two separated. I was saying how nice it would be if the game was setup so that the server could enforce settings, fuel and ordinance, for a level playing field. I never said that dumping fuel should not be allowed, but that it is not realistic, especially when related to BFM. You came into this thread talking about how we need to have rules and regulations to govern a sport. Some of us care about dogfighting, you may not. You chose to post so you back up your words. You prove that you know what your talking about in the game, not here.
  13. This what people who don't know how to dogfight say. :D
  14. .
  15. Nowhere have I seen in any manual that dropping fuel is a part of BFM. A pilot might drop fuel over the ocean or enemy territory to gain angles in a dogfight, but I doubt it.
  16. I keep bringing it up because you talk the talk but don't walk the walk. You talk like you know, but I would like for you to show that you do. therefore, it has bearing. Your last comment goes back to what I said about the G modeling. If a guy drops his fuel a veteran pilot will recognize the opponents better turning / climbing ability and then use fuel against the opponent. But the speeds that need to be flown by the current G modeling don't allow proper extension and returns into the fight. Let me know when your ready to start walking...
  17. Don't know, that dogfighting cup is not an option for me. It would be a concern though if they opened it up for world wide competition. Similar to the dogfighting ladder for Falcon. http://dogfighting-league.com/ Any flavor of Falcon can participate. I'll be in Hyperlobby waiting for ya...
  18. It is actually a good thing that is brought to light. So that all know it is a problem. Hopefully one that can be fixed. Perhaps the game can check the values in ram before it uses them if a value is out of parameters it could throw an error to all on the server. Also those who know the characteristics of the jet really well in LOMAC will be able to spot this problem, depending on how accurate the tac view represents the numbers the jet actually had when it was flying.
  19. You are correct, you notice that little banner at the top right of the site? Dogfighting Cup????? hmmmmmmmm So it is a big deal for some of us. BTW you come on hyperlobby when you think your ready. ;)
  20. :disgust:
  21. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=24779 This would not be a problem if the G modeling were not as it is, but that is another story... This was a problem in Falcon, but they fixed it in the DF module. No fuel dumping is possible. From what I understand dumping fuel is not possible in the real F-16. I'm not sure if it is or is not for the real jets in this game. Which brings up the point of this post. It would be cool if the game had more settings to control the fuel and ordinance that are allowed in game, server regulated. This way you could control what people have to start with fuel and ammo wise. I'm not saying this should happen in FC or BS, but it would be nice to have. What do you all think? :pilotfly:
  22. Very true, only time this worked with me: a bandit I was following was low and slow and he pulled the cobra. I thought he was going to crash and disengaged. Next thing I know he was locking me up I think he shot me down. That 27 has crazy AoA ability. After that though the cobra has never worked against me.
  23. You can see the rear gun up in the pics at the bottom. http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/bomber/tu-95.htm Very interesting.
  24. Nice posts starlight and force feedback, very comical. :megalol:
  25. The HARM "remembers" where the spike was after it has turned off. Also the pilot can ground designate the target with out ever getting a paint. So if there is intel on a SAM location it can be destroyed without ever lighting up.
