Have you tried to slingshot yourself over the top? Back up as far as you can, and go as high as you can before the stall, fly forward at the mountain then dip down some and pull up as needed and kinda shoot yourself over it =P That worked for me on one of the missions where I had to get over the top of a hill on a cold day =P

Actually there are 2 english manuals. The one that was released before the game, and then the one that came with the game. I think that the new one is just an update to the current one with the errors that were posted fixed. I havent really read through it to see.

Yes, this is probably one of the best game releases, in terms of being bug free, in awhile. Kudos to not only ED for making this awesome sim, but to the beta testers, that helped out just as much, by putting in the needed time to find and point out the bugs that ED needed to fix before release. Good job of both teams on an awesome release :) I hope the rest come out as good and clean as this one. :)

Doh, I'm sorry.. I feel really stupid now. I didn't realize that that There was the axis part of the control setup and I guess the slider on my joystick was set to the collective by default. :( I got it all sorted out now.

I got nothing there, I even tried flipping the keys in the options around, and it still doesnt want to work :( I only have a joystick also, so there is nothing else interfering with it.

Yeah, cause it wont even work with the keyboard button presses..

Im sorry, but I'm having a seriously annoying problem with the collective stick. This was happening to me when I first got the game, and learned to finally get the heli started, but when I press the num+ nothing would happen... THe blade would not pitch or rotate so I could take off.. I tried everything and nothing seemed to work.. So in confusement I went through and watched the 2 take off tutorails and he took off just fine and when I finished the second tutorial and took control, that button magically worked.. It worked fine there on out, until last night, when I tried the quick mission and I got shot down. I recovered, and not that stupid button wont work again.. I cant take off because of it at all. Whats weird is its trying to work, I can watch the needle on the guage sometimes bounce up and down like it wasnt to pitch the blades, but its like its stuck on 0 pitch most of the time. Its seriously getting on my nerves and hopefully someone can help me out.

I was running the russian version on Vista 64 and it was running just fine. No problems at all so far, but I have only been running it for about 2 days now.

GRR.. HAHA oh well.. I guess Ill just run the russian version before I throw on the english since I have my new CPU just sitting next to my computer. I waited to throw that in because I ran out of artic silver my last build and I forgot to get more. Oh well.

Oh sorry.. I used the F-14d mod and then I took those 2 files that you sent me, backed them up, and then replaced them in the bazar folder where they needed to go. I see you send me some new files there too so Ill give them a try as well. Sorry for being alittle slow on this. I usually dont place in mods like this, I just use modman most of the time. :-X

do this.. restart the computer and get to a boot options *safe mode boot and stuff like that* one of them should be "start with digital drive signatures disabled" and start it that way. I have the same problem with mine and I have yet to get help from them about it. But that way seems to work.

I would love to see a littlebird put in as a flyable. They are small and fast and would be a blast to recreate a scenario like blackhawk down :)

If you could get the mig one working right so it looks like the one on the front page, that would be amazing :) Like I said, I'm a mig flyer and would love to get the cockpit to look like that.
