I miss the radio feature they had in BS1.. That played the music over radio frequency and it was based off of what you had in a specific folder and broke contact if you lost LOS to the tower. It was pretty cool. I wish they would bring that back :(

I noticed the Strike Eagle for some reason, but I think the amount of blur on the Apache one is what threw me off and made it look better than it might actually be? Either way I still enjoyed the video :)

That still looked look DCS outside though.. Did he just past it in to a DCS video?

Awesome movie. Just a quick question. What cockpit was that at 46 seconds in? Was that the 3rd person view of the Apache cockpit? It just looked a little to detailed to be a 3rd person view.

My guess is still on going. I think EB would be kind enough to tell us if it got solved by now if it did. I really dont think we will be seeing any real new info, unless its the legal info has been sorted, till after 1.2.3. I have a good feeling about Feb. for some good news :)

Couple of things to quickly try. Take the game off of full screen and turn down the clutter/brush from 800 to about 200 or 300. You wont see that stuff in the air anyways. Now are you getting bad performance in the air or on the ground or both? I guess people are very different. I find 40FPS pretty awesome to play this with. But im playing on a single monitor and that's in the air. On the ground I get about 25fps =P

I got a little excited about it. Had 4 of them plus 2 blackhawks fly over my house the other day. "I though, man that would be cool to fly. I hope someone does that for DCS so I can". :P I guess wishes do come true :lol:

Thats funny. I just ordered the sameish setup. The i5-3570 (not the K. I dont over clock) and the Asus P8Z77 motherboard and 8 gigs of G-skill memory. I was using a E8500 C2D processor before as well. I already have a 570 videocard so that should be good enough for awhile. :) Enjoy your build :)

There is some extra things you can do then. - Go to the mods/aircrafts/flaming cliffs/inputs folder copy and past the Su-27 folder to the same place, so now you have a one called "su-27 copy". Rename that one to "su-30". - Open the folder and now edit the name.lua file. It's only got one little string of code in there. Change that so instead of saying "return_('Su-27')" it says "return_('Su-30')". - Once you did that save it and go back to the entry.lua file that I told you to originally (in mods/aircrafts/flaming cliffs) edit and again change the line, "["su-30"] = current_mod_path .. '/Input/su-27'," to "["su-30"] = current_mod_path .. '/Input/su-30',". - Save it. You will now see the Su-30 as a drop down in the key commands in the options.

Mainstay, Try something. Go to your DCS world folder, then to mods/aircrafts/flaming cliffs and there is a file in there called "entry.lua". Open that file with Notepad ++ if you have it and edit the line in there "["su-27"] = current_mod_path .. '/Input/su-30'," to "["su-30"] = current_mod_path .. '/Input/su-27',". See if it works for you then.
