Yeah, I've used my Nostromo like that but I find it to small. But might work for a full keyboard. I haven't found any overlay-thingy yet but I'm thinking of just making my own printable icons to paste on to the keyboard. However I like to keep my "pit" movable and I don't fancy destroying my Ducky Premier. Might use a spare keyboard laying around. Howver, with this solution the problem is that the keyboard can only be converted to one specific plane. The search continues. (Help?)

Do you also want a report of my none-appearing viewports or is that of no use?

Ok, so disabled all mods ect. and still not getting any viewports. UltraMFCD only says detected and the gears are turning. But nothing else Obviously I have read the website and threads on UltraMFCD but maybe I am missing something very elementary?

Hi Sgt_Baker! Seems like a great program! (Real tired of fiddeling with luas) Oh yeah a bunch of mods installed. None that should effect anything related to this though, me thinks. Stupid of me not to think of that and test it though. I'll report back when I have tried disabling all mods.

Hey Scott. I have the same problem. Game crashes when I start UMFCD. I tried what you wrote (I think) but it is still crashes. Can I just get you to clarify the procedure? Start DCS, press F2 to external view, unpause/start, start YNFCD? EDIT: Nevermind. I got it working, or not crashing at least. But I dont get any external viewports from UMFCD. It has detected DCS but not drawing anything.

If you're calculations are right, and I have no doubt that they are, it's a no-brainer. I mean cheaper, more realistic, less time consuming, less work load, no waiting and still have an extremly good quality and feel to it? It's a given choice. Not that my opinion matters since I have zero experience and knowledge in the field. Just wanted to give you some positive feed back on your thought!

Hiya everybody! TL;DR: Profiles/keymapping/Ideas for keyboard and more. Been looking at different options to expand my siming hardware. But I am a student and been going over my budget so I'm trying to cut the sim hardware purchases for a couple of months. Currently using the standard TM Warthog hotas, Saitek Pro Pedals, WheelStandPro with Warthog Hotas fitting, DIY trackir, 27 screen. I have come to the conclussion that using the mouse reduces my SA (have to move hand, look away/twards panel of use, fiddel with IR to see correctly, and then click the right button) and that it also slightly ruins the immersion. I also noticed that I hardly use the keyboard, except for some CDU inputs. SO I removed almost all the default keybindings of the letterkeys and more for the a-10c. For example all the keyboard hotas commands removed, flight inputs, trim, ect. ect. Now I am searching for a system to implement a good chunk of cockpit command to keyboard. Does anyone have a profile/system/idea they would like to share? I also have a Razer Nostromo if anyone has any cool ideas for that (The ones I've read here haven't really caught my eye) Lastly: Anyone know of something like a keyboard overlay that I can print/make/buy or to put on my keyboard if I managde to do the above stuff? Thanks!

I have been searching for this as well. Even seen one or two posts on the ftnoir forum about it. In one thread a dev answered and said that it would be in the next release. But that post was made 2013 and the other thread didnt have an answer. I also tried opentrack but find it lacking, buggy, crashing compared to pointrack with Ftnoir (at least on my 2 pcs) So if anyone has any solution that would be great.

Like "edit" for exemple is: "PeAaKT". Right now it is a guessing game. Will I come to PM's or post a response or get to settings hehe.

Well, apparently not it would seem I've also asked a friend that owns one. He doens't have this. The guys I fly with that owns warthogs don't either. Of course it might be a bit of a miss-communication regarding the issue. But I've asked them to move the throttle sides ways, wiggling it or any which way, they have no jerking or wiggeling. Bending is one thing, but this is not it.

Hey Strix. Thanks for the reply. I just sent them an email as you suggested. Hopefully they'll get back with some good info. I really don't want to send it back. It's just minor problems. But with the price I paid for it, small things like this shouldn't be there when its brand new. Anyway, if anyone else has any info I would greatly appreciate it

Actually. Both of them are wiggeling. But the right one is a bit annoying. I don't wanna send it back because it seems like I might be able to fix it myself by just tightening some screws or something but I'm hesitant to open it since it's just a couple of days old. Any ideas?

I just bought my first warthog and straight out of the box the right throttle is wiggeling. When I try to use the china the right throttle handle will "twist" forward a couple of milimeters.

Hey. I had the same problem except I have to run crappy graphics so I couldn't see the HUD. Hiya everybody! After about 140 flying hours in DCS World I decided to get a proper* joystick, the G940. Been spending so many hours stalking this forum for information so about time to write my first post! I wanted to get the leds on the throttle working with either the A-10c or the F-15, after reading that it was possible. However after three days of searching, reading every thread on the matter and trial & error, I still have no idea how to get it to work. Tried the first thing I found. That said it should be installed with modman. Didn't work (because I have no idea what I am doing). I later found a couple of threads from 2013. But they mostly explained how to fiddle with the .lua and stuff and doesn't contain very basic information that total beginners like me need. I also found a couple of other threads but they mostly mention the same thing as the other ones. TL;DR: Me wants G940 leds working with A-10C &/or F-15. Me dumb. Help? *=You don't have to agree.
