  1. Tried it again ...now with electricity, whoops :D Thank you very much for this great mod!
  2. Hello! Thank you very much for your great work! Yesterday I have tried your english mod for the SU25T. But I had one problem. The instrument needles dont move. I use actual non steam version of dcs world and english cockpit mod V1.1 I will reinstall the mod again today but I thought maybe has anyone a hint for me how to solve it. Regards, rhino
  3. -- SAAB 35 Draken -- This good old piece of fighter history is retired at the Military Museum in Vienna, Austria. The Draken was replaced by Eurofighter Typhoon in Austrian Airforce. I think they are both beautiful Jetfighters and I wish that we had both in DCS
  4. When all your thoughts turn into Checklist style SOP/QRH for making coffee: -Cockpit Check- Fill in water - CHECK Put in Filter - CHECK -Startup- Dose the amount of coffee - As Required (up to 90% for Quickstart) Start coffee machine Engine - Monitor Instruments -After Start- Request cup - Note mixing ratio Sugar/Milk from ATC READY FOR TAKEOFF
  5. Okay, than it is clear to me, and it is that easy  I read all manuals I can get, but in this case I must have overseen something. Thank you very much :)
  6. Here it is, have attached it. It is a mission with the F15C, there should be some Waypoints. When I start it, I can see the Waypoints in the Briefing when I click on the missionplaner, but when I am in the cockpit and push the F10 map, no waypoints. By the way, I think the problem here is between the monitor and the chair :) not at the sim or so. But I dont know what to do... Eigene Trainingsession F15C.miz
  7. Hey! I'm new to DCS world and have made my own Training Missions, with just a few Targets and waypoints to follow. (one for A10C and one for F15C) When I run it the first times all things where great, but since one day the Waypoints and Targets where disapeared on the F10 map  In the mission with the A10C I have overflown the waypoint where the targets should be, but they where disapeared. As the missions were still working, I have changed only little things like waypoint positions, weather or payload... When I try it now with creating new missions I still cant see any waypoint or target. One thing i thought that could happen is the fog of war, but i should be able to see my own waypoints with fog of war I think. When I try it with downloaded missions all seems to work normal so far. Any hints what can cause such a Problem? Thank you very much!
  8. I agree, the manual is way too much, but I have printed a Checklist/SOP from Lobo: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/172905/ and all airport charts and maps from here: http://wiki.hoggit.us/view/Airport_Charts_(incl._Freqs,_TACAN,_ILS) Plus my own overviews for keyboard and joystick mapping and so on... it its a folder with around 70 pages :) And I also agree about the gear! Sure, a TM Warthog is a nice piece of hardware :worthy: but at this time my moneybag will say nope. But I have no problems with my basic TM Hotas X, a simple Logitech Gamepad (more keys beside the Joystick), and my keyboard. And this is the sense of the thing, having fun :pilotfly: I started about two days ago with seriously flying the Hog, without any weapon nor a targetingpod or something. But just learning the basics is so much fun! Looking forward to my first flight with Gun/Pack armed!
  9. Pilots, thank you all! Your posts are very helpful to me! Bunyap is already subscribed and the next thing I am going to deal with Sabre's qualification campaign. But the first task I have already done is that I flown around for two hours, without weapons or anything. And I must say, the A10C flies very comfortable, which is very motivating :) And I printed Checklists and Surveys for a folder (good old paper is still the best) Learning can begin
  10. Hey! Is there a A10C pilot that would give me a hint for how to bring some efficiency in my way of learning all the systems? The best thing that works for me at this time is basicly flying the plane. I have much knowledge from civil flight simulators. At the moment I read and read and read, jumping from one system to another and at the end I realize that I have learned just a little :smartass: but it does not feel like progress. What was your way thru learning the systems? How much hours do you train for 1 weaponsystem? How long takes your training time all in all to a point where you can say "i am able to fly a A10C"? I appreciate every hint, Thank you!
  11. Hey! Danke!
  12. I have ordered a Trackir 4 now, it is not that expensive as TI5, but I think 119€ are still much money... hope it will work :)
  13. All clear now :pilotfly: I have set all the Axis again, first I could move the stick only forward and backward, but after starting one engine and with pressure in the Hyd system I could move it also left and right! The causing thing with the throttles is clear to me, the suddenly working stick is a riddle for me, but i am happy :) Thank you very much!
  14. Stick dont work in a mission where engines are running, arrow keys work and throttle are working too
  15. One Problem is solved, now i can use my Throttles, I have found the answer in the FAQ, I qote here for others: "Q: I can't start the engines / move the throttle: A: When in Rampstart, the throttles are fixed in OFF position. In real life you have to lift a single throttle up and move it forward in idle position to start the corresponding engine. You can also start the left engine by pressing Right ALT + HOME and right engine by pressing Right CTRL + HOME. In game, unless you own a TM Warthog, you have to start the engine with keyboard-commands. Once this key-combination has moved the throttle from OFF position, it will work normally. If you start on the runway or in the air, the engines are already running. As a logical consequence, you can move the throttles with your throttle immediately." But I still cant use the stick, at the moment I trie again to set the Axis... The cursor key are working. I start from Cold and Dark, tried it in a mission and in the Tutorial Mission. Now I will trie a mission where engines running...
  16. Thats the way I have tried it, but I have tried it also from the main menu. By the way, Thank you for your help to examine it :-) Have this plane something like a steer lock or "gust lock" or something? Maybe I have overseen it
  17. Still impossible to set it. I meant unfortunately because I hoped that I just have selected the wrong layer, but since it is the right thing I'm out of ideas whats wrong.
  18. Jope, I have crosschecked it now, it is the layer for the A 10C REAL.... unfortunately
  19. It is an (older) Profile for the Thrustmaster Hotas X for the Warthog. But the problem is that I generally dont get any window or menu for loading a Profile when I click on it! EDIT: From the Options in Main Menu it will work!
  20. I use the Thrustmaster Hotas X and tried to set the Axis for Thottle and Stick. When I set it in the settings the Axis are recognized, but in cockpit is no movement. At this time i have spent more time with messing around for settings than flying, this is very frustrating  I appreciate any help, Thank you
  21. I downloaded a Profile for my Joystick, but when I click in settings menu in the column to get the Profile Load button highlighted, it gets higlighted but there is no funktion... I have read a thread to this problem and tried some things without success. By the way, this thread was from the year 2012 ^^ I am new to this Sim, this looks like an very slow debugging. Please correct me when I am wrong!? Thank you
  22. Thank you guys for answers! I think I will buy a Trackir when the money is there, the majority of people with trackir is lucky with it I think. Another question is the joystick... at this time I use the cheaper Thrustmaster Hotas X, but it have not so much buttons, now I will try it with a simple logitech gamepad as a "multiswitch panel". What do you think, how many buttons (outside of keyboard) do I need to do the most important things in the Hog? Greetings!
  23. Hey Pilots! I'm new to this great Simulation (comming with some "civil" flight knowledge from X-Plane). Now I learn for the awesome Hog and would like to know if there is a way to adjust the cockpit camera in a better position? I use the mouse for view at this time. The view on the forward panel and the forward parts of the sidepanels are ok but when I want to look at the rear parts of the sidepanels all switches are "upside down" and some of the switches are hidden behind other instruments. It seems that the default Virtual Pilot position is a little bit too much forward. At this time I have tried some things with Snap view (unfortunately it is useless in this situation because I cant move the camera and fix it for manipulating switches and so on, it SNAPS back) I also have tried (the past 5 hours) to set Facetracknoir properly... but this Headtrack is way too nervous and "zooming in" to see switches better does not work for me. Is TRACKIR really a better thing? How do you do it? Sorry for my pronunciation, english is not my native language :) Thank you, and Greetings!
