What's the problem with Chit-Chat? Isn't that the point?

Perhaps time to switch hosting companies, Cobra? Or maybe it's time you set up your own hosting server!

Small bug, but I thought I would mention it. On either side of the canopy are the ejection pillars (for lack of a better name) which extend when the canopy release is pulled. These pillars are not modeled in the external model, after the canopy has been released.

Cobra, quick question about the release process! At what point do you hand the installer package over to ED to upload to the store? Wednesday at 11:55? :P When you mention you are all working through the night until release (paraphrasing), what is it that you guys are doing? Finalizing the installer? Trying to jam more features into the initial release than are currently advertised? On a side note, can we expect a manual before the release?

That was my thinking. Why would anybody be against making this an option? I'm not talking about making a centered view permanent, or even default. Just give the users the option and let them make their own decisions.

Cobra, what's the latest on the updated sounds? Are the better sounds going to make it in the initial release?

I understand that it can be done with snapview saving, and that it's offset for using the gunsight, but I think it would be reasonable to make the offset view an option, especially for those of us with trackIRs whom can easily move our head to the side when we need to view down the sight. :thumbup:

Knew that, not really worried about the crosshairs. What bugs me, personally, is the overall bulkiness of the display itself (knob, base)

I don't know whether or not the Mi-8MTV-2 can do it, but I would love a way to stow this bad boy (sort of like the Huey's pilot sight). It takes up some valuable real estate and makes it especially annoying when I just want to fly some transport. EDIT: Why not make this thing go away when you turn pylons off?

Still looking at May's calendar? Don't you think it's a little hypocritical to try and berate Cobra when you haven't changed your calendar for two months?

Your calendar is screwed up, then. Do some math, today is the fourth, the 28th was six days ago, and therefore was a Saturday. Or do what most people do and go to google and type "calendar" before you harass the devs about dates. And yes, I know where he said it. I literally pasted what he said like two messages ago. Wrong. His post was on Saturday, not even a week ago yet. It went something like: "As I mentioned in the other thread: Update within a week, promo copies going out next week, and likely a livestream on Friday." So an official update (if you like to think he hasn't been giving regular updates already) by the end of tomorrow, promo copies this coming week, and live stream was LIKELY, NOT GUARANTEED today, although as he said earlier, it will probably happen tomorrow. It's comments like yours which promote the constant festering of misinformation and inappropriate reading into of the devs statements.
