I personally like it how it was shown in the vid. Having the leds that actually move this time will add alot. I think the 6DOF will takecare (atleast for TIR users) to the "real sensation" of being the pilot. Just my 2 cents

Welcome to lockon. Dont know tto much about the cyborg stick, but I had the microsoft precision pro is very good. if you really get good, you will want a HOTAS stick like the X52 of Cogar. TrackIR is also nice, but that and the HOTAS are a ways down the road. As for you system specs, you should have no problem at all runnig lockon. (especially with that uber graphics card!) there are a few complications with vista, but nothing too difficult to figure out. if you need help, feel freeto come back to these forums.

Yes, MS has it's strong points. like you said, the ILS and such. I also like the realistic ATC in Microsoft. that's prety much the only thing that keeps my immersion in it. The Interactive training missions are nice too, but useless if you already know how to fly. Just my 2 cents on microsoft FS

Just an Idea... Have you found a place where you can order the actual physical book? this may cost you, but in someways, it can be better than a payed membership. Just an Idea. I'll see if i can find some on Amazon or something. EDIT: here are some Su-27 books. some are kinda expensive though.

Naw... i knew it was a hard core sim when i first saw it on amazon. You know it's a good simulator when those "gamers" give it bad reviews because they just find it too difficult.;) :D

Yes, i agree. lo-mac could have the best FM in any sim. I had flown MSFS for a while, go t lockon, sond stuck with it. And i totally agree that the Su-25T is excelently modeled. I have not flown it hardly at all till recently and i was just blown away by it's realistic feel. Makes me wonder what the realistic FM in BS will be like ;)

You can't. lockon only recognizes one mouse.

The game will definitally play. And one thing about Gold. copies were released with falty #2 disks. You can send back for a replacement, but it's a big pain in the butt. There may not be too many left and it is mostly safe, but just be warned.

After several nasty PMs, i thought it would be a good time to apologize for everything i've done to this forum. I had never ment any harm to the lockon community but have some how made a disgrase of my self. :cry: I only wanted to be a part of the community, not to make a mess of it. Very nice. I liked the real footage an d the lockon footage especially. I dont think the MSFS stuff worked as well. the cockpit wasn't as realistic. (the exteriors were fine though.) Just some constructive critisizm, but other than that, it was an excelent movie!

I'm sorry. when I asked about his FPS tweak, you jumped in and warned me about some mods being bad online. I misunderstood. But i'll still be carefull about mods. Thanks
