Thanks for the info on the 504th and have checked out the site. However, as i quoted my self above, i would like the option to fly both types of planes. I should have thought of the 169th before... problem is, I live in the eastern US... no where close to the Australian time zone. Are there still 169th events close to my time zone? Thanks

I know this has been discusse before.. but it's not what you think. I works for me. However, I don't know which type of codec to use to record. I used the default, but it wouldn't play in windows media player (and thus, i can't make a movie with it...) does any one know how to use this feature of lockon? Thanks

It's the ECM blinkers that really piss me off. I also don't like the lack of structured missions. I would really love to join 3Sqn, but you have to be really good to join......... which i'm not, but i want to get better. IAT? what squadron is that?

I'm getting tired of the noobs that dominate the lock on servers and want something a but more professional. However, I am having trouble finding a squad that flies both Russian and American birds. (as I like them both) Are there any squads that do this? Or is it just on type or the other? And how often do you fly? Thanks

I never turn my ECM on until i have been locked. It's alot easier to find a jammer than a non jammer. I then usually turn it off a few seconds later... (NOT BLINKING MIND YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) then turn it back on and leave it, till either I or he is dead.

I have to agree with EscCtrl though 12 is divisible evenly by more numbers, the number 10 is easier to work with, which is why I prefer the metric system my self. And the entire world (with the exception of the stubborn US) uses the metric system. Maybe the US will eventually come around.

Ya, that's basically all you need... look at the same pit, right? One armature idea i discovered was giving your friend the keyboard while you fly.

I assume missile behavior will be improved... Less Bugs... better compatibility with vista... (I hope) Oh, and most likely reduced frame rates.

Thanks... I have shadows set to all planar. I had them at full, but whenever I was near the Kuznetsov, i got this really strange shadow issue... depending on the side i was on, it would either be completely in shadow or completely lit. (this was in the middle of the day...) Ven, thank you... i see it's not unique to my system... Are you running Vista? This has only occurred on my new system, which has vista.

Yes, and it's lot less dangerous to the pilot. It's used on almost every type of plane.

I have lines in my haze. (see pics.) any Ideas? I have the most recent Drivers for my card, and it's brand new, so it can't be dust... Also, when ever I start a the parking area, with engine off, i still hear engine noises. (which are really loud, almost if some one were next to me and i have my canopy open. none of which are the case.) it's not until i throttle up it AB then throttle back down do the engines sound normal, even at their italing speed. has anyone else had these problems? My system specs are in my sig, if that helps you. BTW, sorry if your name appeared in the pics. these were taken on the 169th server.

Well... just understand that circles are good and rectangles/triangles are bad...

I like moving the "smoothing" bar on the TIR profile window up to about 50. you can also try a linear curve and holding your head stiller. (no offense intended.)
