What defines "good" FPS? mine right now, on a semi demanding mission (the Su-25T quick start mission) I get any where from the upper teens to the mid 50s. However, there is not real noticeable lag, the only way (I could find)to actually get lag is to go into F3 and pop a bunch of flares... Is this good? or will my FPS still deteriorate if i were to play online?

Where can i get this? and is it compatible with Vista? I need it for my X52 and My gamers keyboard. unfortunately, I lost my X52 disk, but still have the gamers keyboard disk... (I'm stupid... you loose crap when you get a new PC and move it to a new room) but can you even use the sst software off the disks with vista?

There is a flyable F-14 model that doesn't replace the Su-33 over at lockon files. it has a tail hook and everything. (no swing wings though...) Check it out... i'm still waiting for that for the F-18...

I have three 80mm fans and one 120mm fan... Ok, looks like I'm stuck with 7900s (still a decent card) unless i chose to upgrade to two 8 series cards. As for AMD vs Intel, A 2.4GHz AMD was A LOT less expensive than the Intel 2.13GHz (both are dual core) either way, I don't regret my choice. Thanks Guys

AMD AthlonX2 Dual Core Processor 2.4GHz SLI Motherboard GeForce 7900GS 2Gb DDR2 Dual Chanel 800 SDRAM Windows Vista :megalol: and one really cool, yet really loud computer case (4 fans! sounds like a hurricane when i enter my room!) What do you think? I'm planning on SLI in the future... Does it work with vista? and will a 7900 work with an 8 series card? Have't installed lockon yet, but cant wait till i see the improvements from mo other crappy rig.

will nvidia 7 series cards like the 7900 run, and take some advantage of directx 10 or will it be useless and stick with directx 9. Can a 7 series card or lower even take it? I know they all say "direct x 9 compatable" but can I still use directx 10 and still get some benifit out of it? :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh: EDIT Ignore the link in the title, i was tring to get a smilie in the title.

I guess that's the russian stratagy. if it works, great, if it still works, looks cruddy, but costs alot less and you can make a ton of them, even better!

don't use the F10, F11 and F12 keys, as they are already being used in lockon. Use something else. I use "/", "*", and "-" on the # pad.

I saw that some where before... I dont know what to think of it... the smoke sure looks real, and the flight it's self looks real, but i'm still really skeptical... transparent wings? JK:D

Just my 2 cents have him vector to the airfield, then fly his wing into touchdown. (this is good only if you are good at formations.)
