Hey Ciri, know you are a busy man, but did you ever get a chance to add those controllers? Thanks Sage

Wasn't there supposed to be WWII AAA, in the assets pack? Chose Third Reich and no anti air option...? Am I looking in the wrong place or is the AAA not out yet? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Just tried this for the first time. Shouldn't have waited so long. It is very cool. One error question and two how to questions. Error: I am not seeing the coordinate output of the downed pilot. Any guess on what I did wrong? Did I forget to turn something on? Looking in the wrong place? How to 1) I think I see where to put it but I don't want to mess up on the syntax. Could someone show me what the script line should look like to add a sound to all at the same time the words about a shoot being spotted appear. 2) With the ability of the f10 map user marks now... is it possible to add in a script section that one of those marks would be created near the downed pilot location? Like maybe where the plane was hit? Thanks in advance for any input someone has time to give. Sage Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Sorry for the late reply. Life Here is the log.txt. clientlog.txt

It's the second one. More devices enabled breaks everything. I will post the log as soon as I get back to the pc. Thanks for the help. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Same with mine. Not recognized. I have a Leo Bodnar card button box set up and it's the same thing. The two TM MFDs and the button box all three say "supplemental" in the log... Do you want/need my SRS log as well, or good to go/already working a fix? Thanks. Sage PS: Still the best addon program for DCS. Continually amazed by it. Great work!

With the carriers being released as separate modules fingers crossed that they will have some upgraded functionality Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Unfortunately yes. Limit of the system at the moment.

I'm not even sure what it's called. It's proprietary to the cutter I think, you have to have a USB dongle in for it to work. Lack of options, not user friendly, doesn't zero with a darn, can only take Corel draw files, etc. I have been looking there and there is a Google group about it too... Thanks guys. Is this dead? Download links take me to build.com....

I have had one of those Chinese EBay 40w laser cutters for about eight months now. Used it once and the software is just crap. I see online some folks have converted them over to an Arduino which then lets you cut/engrave directly from InkScape... Have any of you done this? I can Google, but if there is a fellow DCS simmer that I can bounce questions off of as I go along that would be great. ;) Thanks, Sage Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Does anybody have a link to a NATOPS orsomething somewhere that shows proper carrier procedures for the Harrier? Apologies if it's already been posted stuck on my phone and search isn't playing nice. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

So, I'm stupid and bricked my Warthog.
SageOT replied to SageOT's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
So, I'm stupid and bricked my Warthog. So I received a new main board and 6pin. Soldered the wires on the 6pin wires (very quickly and poorly but they are connected). Hooked up the new stuff and..... $&@&$!?)$. Same issue as before. Axis work but press a button and nothing. Except for the first detent of the trigger. Press it and all the buttons light up (in windows) at once. I said f*ck it and ordered a new stick. Anybody have a guess as to what is still wrong? Grounding issue? Figure if I can eventually fix it I can at least eBay the sucker. :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Yeah mine was good for years then finally started with the "stick-tion." I'm glad they sent the parts. I thought about trying VKB or those new guys that just announced on here. Honestly though my favorite thing about the Warthog is how small the base is. I'm working on home cockpit build 3.0 and the Hog is sooooooo freaking easy to mount on anything. I was unlucky with the timing. Would have loved to find a broken Hog on Ebay but no one had one up at the time. -

Lol, I almost just bought a new one. I was so mad at myself. Hopefully I don't eff up installing the new one. Side note, if you are more careful than me I highly recommend doing the re-grease on the stick. It's smooth as he'll now. :) -
Dear oculus rift cv1 users. Is it really worth it!
SageOT replied to boedha68's topic in Virtual Reality
It's super pretty, but sooooooo boring. I really wanted to like it, but I just couldn't get into it. Very well built game though. -

Well after a slow start TM got back to me and we're pretty quick to respond from that point on. $60 bucks later and a new main board and 6pin DIN on the way. More money than I hoped but still cheaper than a new stick by far. Now just to get it back together. Yikes. ;) -
So it's more of a core fix then. Got it. Well here's hoping his work can help them out.

You're killing me Smalls! [emoji12] Amazing work man. Hopefully someone with the smarts can figure out what to mod to get your figures into the sim. Sage

Umm... maybe I missed it... but what do I change and where do I change it to try this? Rift user...

Suncom SFS and Talon restoration and mods
SageOT replied to debolestis's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Been meaning to ask this for a while, kept forgetting... Any of you know if the Suncom sticks are 1:1 for size to the real thing? The couple I have feel a bit small to me but it may be because I'm just used to the Warthog. Thanks, Sage -
OK. 3 days (moving) and I can really dig into MOOSE. I have been watching the new videos, but have not read the various instructions recently. I read the original stuff a while back but it went right over my head. So with that said, a stupid question and a couple observations. Stupid question. If I want various "parts" of MOOSE in a mission do I just copy and paste those bits into a single big script file or does each thing need to be its own file with multiple different 'do script file' triggers at the start? Observations: FlightControl you are obviously a really smart guy. This thing you've made seems hella cool. However, the first "tutorials" you put out were....... well... cruddy, at dumbing it down for the not smart at this stuff guys... like me. :) I really wanted to use it but couldn't quite get a handle on it based on your explanations. I say the above because, wow man, big leaps and bounds recently with your videos. It's starting to click for me. The side by side script file and ME window, huge thumbs up. Please, please, please keep up the "if you want x, then do y, let me show you" format. If you want to explain the genius of your system, make a separate video. In the tutorial videos KISS. I know they're working for me and I'll bet they are drawing other mission builders with a tentative grasp on scripting to your system. That ended up being long. Sorry. In case it didn't come across... all the above was just a big compliment. :) Can't wait to start using this now. Keep up the good work. Thanks much! Sage Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
