  5. +1 on clean install. Did the upgrade thing and all sorts of issues. Did a full wipe and install and not a single problem. Super happy with win 10 now.
  6. So I was away for a few months from mission building, coming back now... Absolutely love this script. I remember it was on a future hope list for a way to have the ai fighters "knock it off" and not over pursue. I don't think that has been discovered yet but just wanted to check. Even if it's outside this script, does anyone have a way they have made something like that work?
  7. vVFA2 has three VR users in it. We were kind of itching for a high fidelity plane so we've been taking a break from the f18c FC3 mod and doing a bit of P3Dv3 Superbug and F5e and M2KC on DCS. Usually flying on Tuesdays and Saturdays 2130ish EST. Feel free to drop by. Forum and TS info on our website.
  8. What smacked me in the face recently was cockpit size. I was flying the a10 for a while then jumped into the M2KC for the first time in along time. Holy crap, what a small pit. I unconsciously pulled my arms in a bit so as not to bump anything, lol. I need to jump back in the Mi8. That's like sitting in a mini-mall. ;)

    So to take this thread further off track... just to confirm, outside of a third party script using Mist there is no way to change the jtac code right? Not even a .Lua edit in the .miz file?

  13. So this is a question from a VR user.... Is there a way to set the kneeboard to be actually on my virtual knee? Guess that would involve rotating it on the horizontal axis...? If there is can someone tell me how? If there's not... is it a future possibility?   14. I think I mentioned this a while back but... Outside of the Oculus changes it still feels like ED has been doing stuff in the background. I swear I had not changed any of my settings a while back and I got on after a couple of ED updates and it just looked.... better. So whether it's all in my head or something was really done, who cares I guess. :) Keep it up ED. :) Granted I bumped up to a 1080 but I'm running 1.5 at pd 2.0 and almost everything on high and it's smooth as silk. Also, did they make the sprites smaller on model enlargement large? I feel like they are now, but with the current state of the game I pretty much don't even need labels at all anymore. Just a quick zoom and I can spot almost everything on the ground and in the air.

  16. Sorry to necro here guys but... With this liveries in CoreMods thing now...? Does that mean all those older posts about keeping a liveries file in saved games are out of date now or can you still do that?

  18. I purchased a pilot's kneeboard. Printed some 9 line cards and laminated them, then use a dry erase marker. The kneeboard is in just the right spot to be viewed through the nose gap without even moving my head. Issue: If I'm in the a10 for say 30 minutes or so the pointer suddenly goes from a cross to... basically a yellow pixelated sun. Is that happening to anyone else?
  19. It's like flyinside. However it stays on all the time. You have to turn off clickable cockpit to make it go away. I have it set to voiceattack. Honestly though I don't turn it off very often. Kind of get used to it.
  20. Just posted elsewhere too. Set up the eyepoint controls to your hotas. I have a button box I made with extra toggles... just slide back and the cdu, and all other hard to reach side panels become no problem at all. When done slide back forward or just recenter your view (I do this with VoiceAttack). Yep, nose gap and an actual pilot kneeboard and 9 lines are no issue.
  21. Don't forget you can set up any spare hotas buttons for left and right Mouse buttons. I have a small button box I made mounted in front of my throttle. I put all the eyepoint movement controls on it. It's my new favorite thing. I slide myself all the way back for startup in the A10. Everything is easy to get to that way. Then while flying I can quickly slide back to work the radios, lights, ect, then slide right back up to my normal position.
  22. Ok ED. Several patches and this is still not fixed. Obviously it's more of a pain in the... than we know. Would you mind giving a little customer feedback though and drop a message to let us know what's up/why this is going on? It's frustrating as a customer that, to my knowledge, we haven't seen this issue addressed anywhere. Again, I don't doubt you're working on it but just a quick, for dummies, message about what's up would be great. Thanks, Sage

  24. First, it's awesome, but I knew it would be. :) Second... I see you made the campaign with model enlargement and labels off..... As it's payware and can't be edited... Are there any ways that I'm not aware of to turn model enlargement and labels on? Flying it the Rift so it would be quite handy. I have it set on my game to "use these settings for all missions" but it seems it won't override the campaign settings. Thanks, Sage
  25. Mostly pdfs, but being able to pull a YouTube tutorial in would be pretty sweet too. Maps, google, you name it.
