I'll check depth of field . . . It is only outside the aircraft where I am seeing some JAG and Studder. Occassionally inside, but that may have been with all of the changes to my settings. I did try the ACTUAL Full Screen with no diff. I do notice that if I set my Desktop to 1920 x 1080 and game to 1680 by 1050 it seems to work about the best, however I would not be so quick to change these things except for this issue I cannot resolve with new 1.50 studdering on FLY BY. (F3)

And I have recommendations for turning OFF VSYNC in the game settings, and here you say leave on ? or Not ? Answers are never clear, and too many acronyms

Tried playing with Video settings for the NVIDIA card, and game (VSYNC) etc. no luck

Ill try running the NVIDIA App on my desktop and see if for DCS.exe I can set those up.

I see ref to FPS 60 all over these posts, but have seen no reference to that in the SETTINGS in DCS or in Windows ? Where is that reference coming from , how do you change it ? I realize that its Frames Per Second.

BTW when I selected the ENGLISH option in MISC, for SU25T all of the graphics got "interesting" sort of a CUBIST thing, with some random text, and a grey windshield. So I went bavk add re-added the .ZIP file to the old folder (still baffled by that) And the only way I could get the ENGLISH folder to show up was to look for that in the ZIP file and find the DEFAULT folder for SU25T and place it in the same folder. You know force it it there under LIVERIES folder which was n't mentioned in the readme.txt.

I have the "ENGLISH" option in the MISC menu, but no luck. Why is it important to leave the .ZIP file from prior update (that didnt work either). The English folder is here ; C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Su-25T\Liveries\Cockpit_Su-25T\english Here is the other folder structure ...SU27; C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Flaming Cliffs\Cockpit\Textures\SU-27S-CPT-TEXTURES (no ENGLISH option on FC3 dropdown in MISC, somehow there was a Chinese ??) SU25T; C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Su-25T\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\SU-25T-CPT-TEXTURES (no more files & no ZIP file ) I used to be good at this ...generally, I have not added too many MODS to this point, but I did add the A10 HUD Text increase... sooo - there seems to be something missing in the instructions, Help :cry:

DELL XPS 8700 windows 7 8gig Ram Intel Core i5 4460 3.2Ghz GeForce GT720 Video card Gaming system from Dell about 12 mos old.

In version 1.5 I have noticed that the one thrilling feature (F3) flyby is now jaggy and not nearly as smooth as it was in prior version. I have flown in 5 different aircraft with more than a few graphic settings, and with view from below to take out the ground cover etc. Ground cover looks a bit blurry on flyby also, it appears that it has some 3D layer of graphics capability that I am not taking advantage of. The smoothness quality is what has always set this game apart, especially back when it was a simple game, Su27 FLanker. I have noticed that turning off the Mirrors (M) seems to matter. Cockpits are great however ! I have also noticed You Tube training videos that look outstanding, and these are videos of the game. Is there a trick these guys are using to make the stuff look that good !? I have seen a few posts for settings to help video quality and game play, but nothing has made it perfect. I have a 1 year old DELL gaming computer, and a Sony 48" 1080p TV Monitor. I do not have the specs on the CPU or Graphics card at the moment. Are there any suggestions out there to get back the FLYBY feature as it was before using v1.5 ? Been playing this game since it was SU 27 FLANKER, and found it to be the best flying game then, and still love it, even though it has become incredibly complex. Wish there were more simple missions (for SU-27) in the can, I have started designing my own, but not really the same. Like christmas when you have to buy yourself a present. And TRAINING Modules ! I have been using YOU TUBE mostly, which is impressive.

Encyclopedia :music_whistling:Speaking of the Encyclopedia, is that where we get info on Armor, Wepaons etc ? it is so lacking, anyone got any ideas where to find the nitty gritty on which country has what weapons, and a beter way to build missions without guessing what a ZIL 131 Kung is, or where to find a tank for the Blue Side ?? And the consistency of weapons names from one area to another in the games is really difficult...like the manuals and game play, or the encyclopedia... grrrr :pilotfly: :joystick:

My understanding is that some AIRPORTs are not equipped for ILS bars to work... mainly for landing. however if you mean the direction guides (Altitude and direction), you may be well off the proper way point path ? How about this ... how do you turn on SU27 HUD from cold start ? Its not in the manual grrr

What do you mean by AVionics mode? I have many issues wiuth the SU25T, its a hard ! plane to fly ! I have tried adjusting the joy stick etx. Set GAME MODE in OPTIONS unsleected, no difference. The nose bounces all over the place, same with other aircraft... so perhaps someone can suggest a setting ? Options dont seem to work as set, the MINI HUD keeps showing up for no reason ?? Things come and go, work sometimes dont work other times. Specifically the INSTANT Action SAM KILLER (this seemed to work fine the first few times I flew this), Now I cannot lock the radar on a target it just cycles from one to the next no matter how precise I get with the target (red triangle moves from one to the other when I use LOCK TARGET button. And ALT 1 and ALT 2 work for a bit then they go away ... Hold attitude and altitude. Is that normal?

Firing weapons in US Aircraft - 2 types Mystery of the Cannons only firing for A10 (ALL VERSIONS) solved... The ALT Space:smartass: key "release" weapons is the error I made for all non cannon weapons. It is odd that the cannons fired no matter what mode of combat I used, or what weapons I selected... that doesn't seem right. At some point there is no doubt that the Joy Stick firing button fired all weapons from these aircraft, but when I noticed it happening with F-15's in recent versions, then I learned from a Training video the ALT Space bar. So how rude ! Its kind of a big deal. And the SU and MIG aircraft do not require that, all those weapons are fired with Joy stick trigger, so apparently its a cultural thing. At least all the planes I have flown to this point. :joystick::doh:

Similar thing has happened with my A10 aircraft... all of them - only canons ?? Tried getting help with original LOMAC software, got denied "not supported" . Experiencing many other minor issues, Options do not take affect - or change randomly... lag in controls response. All added is very frustrating. I even upgraded to latest DCS and FC3 and A10C, and uninstalled the original LOMAC and FC2. What else is there ? Is there some magic upgrade to make ? I have brand new hardware and limited software running. Just upgraded in DSC to the latest (its automatic looks like). 1.2.10.32095
