dude... It is an interactive cockpit for heavens sake, and certainly not very similar to any other of the aircraft on the normal list. I assume you are not a fan. Narration is available in Audio in all recent training I have ever seen except this, so you get the point. It is a ton of fun to fly... F3, F3, F3. Thank god for You Tube ... haven't searched yet.

Why change in the LUA there is a setting in options for Preload Radius NO ? A lot of speculation, can you provide hard numbers ? Is VRAM the Page file ? please define acronyms. BTW - what is the solution, defining the problem is of no use without a solution... always fun to speculate though. SSD (drive) ? Seems gamer reviews have shown that SSD hi speed and all dont make that big a difference. Are we sure that SSD's are critical to DCS ?

Speaking of Altitude ... when using F2 to view other aircraft, seems the Speed and Altitude indicated at the bottom of the screen is never accurate, Can anyone explain this ? I mean off by 50% or more ??

Definitely stutters compared to 1.5. In fact it seems very difficult to fly the A10 C in many of the instant action ... especially trying to beat a fighter jet in a dogfight. Make a turn and the nose goes straight to the ground. Wiggle and shake, it is a little like the F15 in the early DCS. Anyone else find this to be true ? Nothing seemed to make any difference in the AXIS tuning which is a red flag.

Any news for this ? I notice it most the Instant Action ? impossible to fly the A10 aircraft ? also micro stuttering drives me crazy. I end up flying in ALT F1 mode. I have gone back to 1.5 many times, I will again. Much smoother in all aircraft.

YET VR is mentioned... confusing.

There is no mention of TRACKIR in the OPTIONS currently ??

I cannot find a TRACKIR installation thread... do the TRACKIR column(s) in OPTIONS appear after installation ? and are they available on ALL aircraft ? Trying to get to step 1 and cannot... 1.5 and 2.5 ??

My experience has been frustrating, especially with 2.5#. I have been using DCS for many years. I play on my desktop not a server location... The only change with significant positive affect was to LIMIT FRAME RATES to 72fps with Riva. Prior to that I was able to get a range from 60 - 140 FPS and thinking hey thats cool.... but it stuttered tooooo much ! WHY ? Google it ... You can limit the frame rate other ways but why has no one (everyone!) mentioned this ????? Significant change in game performance. AND I turned on VSYNCH !! I have Geforce GTX 1050 video card and 4 core 3.4ghz processor, 32g memory.

I bought the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050TI, figured after 3 years of tweaking the video and other system settings, this would be the trick. I have a gaming system Win 7 32G Ram 4 channel processors Intel i5-4460 3.2 Ghz. I am also using a Sony Bravia HD TV for the screen output. It definitely helped.... Still going thru trying to figure this frame rate out... studdering and halting is unplayable at times. 2.5 is far worse than the 1.5 version, isn't there some way to have the program identify the issues in the settings ?? Nvidia lets yuo set each program or game separately. Im not in a twelve step program but im close. I have seen enough training videos and demos to wonder how much $$ do you have to spend to get this system to make it worthwhile ?? I mean are the training videos just lucky ? does eveybody have the studdering issues at time s ? By this time there must be some HAVE to and CANNOTS for getting decent frame rates... The program ought to be able to figure out what is wrong and "suggest" changes. I have sent the settings on my system a few times and got suggestions, but I have not found any one thing that makes the difference. I still feel there is something that is needed ( and available to me) that will remedy frame rate (actual game play) that I see all the time in videos on YOU TUBE??

I have been able to LOCK the MAV using TMS Fwd Short about 30% of the time, every other time I have to rely on the automatic lock... I do the same things each time, really frustrating... usually I am slaving to steerpoint, Something UP LONG and then wiggling the MAV site until it locks... The TGP idea is what I started out trying to master, I will have to review all commands, they are complex. Why do the Command Settings not include the part about what they do ! wouldn't that be helpful ?

I see you have a $1,200 video card.... uhhhhh I see Can I borrow your old one ? or perhaps the one before that... or maybe Ill just come over with gift card for Peets... and my screw driver. My original comments seem meaningless now ... AC5 has Vsync ON ? Can you comment ? Also SSD (solid state drives ?) Do most of you use SSD ? I do not. Not sure the speed of yours, but some are lightning fast compared to the SATA drives

Here is something baffling, my keyboard has no PAUSE key ? I cant seem to figure out how to turn on the FPS in the game ? I do use fraps, but would like a little more detail. Ill have to drag our my old gaming keyboard...

Do yuo play the SU25T against A10C's ? DOGFIGHT in instant action. The A10's are doing over 800 knots in that one, flying on the treetops ... why ? Just curious.

Thanks ... I dont use MSAA or SSAA, does that help ? I also use FULL SCreen ? why are you not using ?

Tell us all of your settings (screen shots) and graphics card settings, assuming you have a 3D card and can change the setup... thanks mw
