the F-35 is believed to replace the F-16, F-15, A-10, F-117, and every F/A-18A-C. Personally I think the government is just screwed up and is wasting billions of tax payers dollars on a new jet when the RAPTOR hasnt even been in service for a few years. The F-22 and F-35 are the same exact thing just about in ability and as the 22 costs like 70-80 mil a unit and the 35 like 100-150 mil a unit? COME ON!!!
