Well, I wasnt warping when you gunned me, but you rubberbanded away twice when I managed to get on your six the sortie after when I was about to take revenge and got two sweet 73 solutions, lost you on the second one cause you extended but the game kept me in a turning fight. One glitch and you were gone :huh: then you got me, one mistake too much. Well whatever, its not your fault. The game will eventually improve and the time will come when I'm experienced enough to get you. only started fighters after watching the 99th guys grilling red su27s from a huey in round 3, I'm learning as fast as I can ;) everytime you get me a little more :joystick::pilotfly:

+1, i too think this would solve many problems at once. I've had a red guy with a short non-word name attack me as well, it was shortly before restart on the last patrol and I managed to evade his shots, but it still was a pita ... I think a swing with the banhammer would be appropriate!

Pick one up, they don't cost much and it will turn your gameplay-experience around. You will all of the sudden find yourself in a team of fighters strikers and choppers working together. Once you've tasted that, you wont turn back!

Sound like you did not join TS, and maybe even that 27 that shot you was not on teamspeak. Like already pointed out, a mission of this scale needs solit flight planning - OF ALL PARTIES. A lone airplane cannot do really much, but if you coordinate with a team it makes all the difference, just look at how far blue came this round, all with a sincerely impressive teamwork-display! In fact the red team is in a big need of capable strikers that are ready for duty once air-superiority is achieved. We had air-superiority over the Maykop-Minvody farp yesterday for more than 45 minutes, including choppers with troops in the vincinity but the only strikes I noticed was two (2) anti-radiationmissiles. The blue side eventually set up kub, and how my airsuperiority ended can be seen one post above when maverick showed up ... So you're very welcome to try again and please make sure you join TS!

I'm really sorry I got no better news for you, but you better try feeling comfortable with downloadable programs. I personally havent used a single DVD CD or whatsoever in years, and it feels great! ;)

I just lost one life too, foxed on sweeper, then a short rubber-glich and my game froze. Can I get that picture and the life back too plz? :D

This has to do with how the mission is layed out. Sukhumi is a blue airbase from the start, so red only gets support aircraft. Like coxy pointed out, its the other way around with beslan where we can spawn Su27, but blue only mig 21 ...

Yes, even though we are a little bit outperformed by blue teamwork it is still huge fun and a great experience :)

I agree with snark, other than that there is not enough chopper slots available to compensate the significance of their operations. What about adding AI-Cargo-Planes to bring fuel? They would be faster, and we'd have more choppers available for the other tasks choppers are needed for. Just a suggestion for next round ...

Server is down again :( I managed to get 4 sorties in which all ended in a crash - to desktop, one 30 seconds before landing ... no luck for me so far. will try again after the restart ...

hmm, well maybe you should check your own argument skills first, Maverick had some very good points you managed to ignore with impressive skill! ;)
