  1. Did you set it to Sound Module Output only? So no, simultaneous output. Maybe it's engine rumble effect? The next SSA stable version will come with an effect monitor view which allows you to see which effects are currently active.
  2. Same here, 41°C in my apartment...
  3. Resetting of settings might be from time to time not avoidable. Usually I announce this here a certain time before. It is always good practice to keep backups of important things... Once the SoundeModule was started, it should have placed a proper file in "SimShaker for Aviators" in your documents folder... Just to clarify, SSA is freeware...
  6. Any idea on how to approach this?
  7. Ah great. I'm glad that everything is working again! :pilotfly:
  8. Hmm, does it work with a fresh export.lua? Otherwise, check your firewall rules and log files from DCS and SSA (enable logging in the service tab)
  9. New beta release v1.2.0.4: - Spitfire CW added - Network handling reworked - Effect monitor added
  10. Can you guess which rumble effect didn't stop?
  11. Hmm, a wild guess, did you test it on a single player mission or multilayer? In the latter case, the server must allow player exports...
  12. I'm back and already programmed some new things. The upcoming beta version will bring an effect monitor view which shows the currently active effects. This should be very useful to identify effects running crazy. Later I plan to create a new user interface which integrates configuration and effect visualisation... In addition, I rewrote the way SSA handles the interaction with the simulations. Therefore we should see a reduction in CPU load...
  13. I'll be back at the weekend :-)
  14. Can you give me some more details? Which plane? Can you isolate which effect is running crazy?
  15. Please check your export.lua. It might be worthwhile to backup you current one and let SSA create a new one...
  16. Sure, why not? :pilotfly: There is a RPM parameter in the export.lua world but it looks like only FC3 planes use it. All other models do not export RPM values thus I usually rely on (not precise) needle positions... I hope DCS will sometime provides a more simple interfaces but they are always afraid that these interfaces could be used for cheating...
  17. Nozzel position seems to be independent from RPM, at least when near AB range ... I've already contacted Groove and ask for several things, like RPM or isLanded... The 3d model draw export feature took also quite long to get it accessible through the export.lua...
  18. DCS does not export RPM values for the Hornet, and since it uses a digital display unit I can not read the needle position. Therefore, in SSA, currently RPM effect for the Hornet does not work....
  19. Bin im Urlaub ;). Sollte in zwei bis drei Wochen drin sein...
  20. Hmm, right of my head, this might not be necessary anymore. Older SSA version changed files in the installation. Fortunately ED added some needed interfaces thus SSA today only lives in the saved games profile folder... Just a page before: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3557864&postcount=1253 I'm still on the road...
  21. Hey Snacko, SSA stores the settings in a different file. It's encoded and not changeable from the outside, the file is stored in your User Documents folder under the SimShaker for Aviators folder. When you chose SoundeMode in SSA and then close SSA it should remember(save) that state in the settings file...
  22. Don't hesitate to ask... I'll add the clipped wing version as soon as I'm back from my vacation. Roughly 2 weeks... Please contact Andre. That pop up telling you that the network port is generated by the SoundModule... I'll have a look on the SSA side when I'm back from my holidays...

Das Gimp DDS plugin kann DDS einlesen und bearbeiten... Ansonsten so mal nach dds zu png/jpg converter suchen...
  24. Guys, please relax. It's still a game, a hobby, a passion but not essential for life... Mariner, I can somehow understand your anger but there is nothing I can do right now. I reached out to some testers and here are the results: 1) If Ethernet network connection is disabled, SSA gets no data from DCS 2) If Ethernet cable is unplugged, so no physical connection, SSA gets no data from DCS. 3) If Ethernet cable is plugged in and connected to a network and network connection is enabled but there is no internet access, SSA gets data from DCS. So, might be an issue with DCS but could also be on the Windows side... To get back to the car example, it seems that one blames the car manufacturer that the road is bumpy... In Europe we like to share stuff basically for free to improve the experience for all. Making SSA payware would be very complicated. In Germany you have to pay roughly 50% of the sales price in taxes to the state. To make this somehow profitable SSA would cost a fortune! As funnyfrank mentioned, I spend several hundred hours on SSA, even took time of from work to implement new stuff... However, I'll be back in roughly 3 weeks and will have a deeper look. But I guess patience is a rare good nowadays...
  25. Calm down guys, at the end it's still a game... I'm on vacation and have only limited internet connection and no development machine around. As you noted, it's a freeware application and I buy all the modules by myself to implement the support for it and give it for free to you... I get nothing from seat purchases or sound module licenses... So, back to the topic... SSA uses the simshaker.lua file to read data from DCS and sends them via Sockets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_socket) to SSA. The DCS Debug View more or less shows the received data. I don't know if DCS does not allow export player data if no network connection is available. Might be a related to the new protection system? Or if some Windows magic is preventing the data to flow... That's all I can say from here. I'll be back in roughly 3 weeks...
