In the first post of this thread I posted a possible workaround. Did you try to start the application from the installation folder? However, if 1.2.0.0 works for you, please stay at the stable version. 1.2.0.3 is a beta and may have some issues. However, the difference between 1.2.0.0. and 1.2.0.3 are marginal. I just tweaked some values. Therefore i assume that the issue must be on your system. But I have no clue what it might be... @All: I'm on vacation for the next 3 weeks. I might be able to read/post but I'm not 100% sure...

As you said, the av program blocked SSA to write the settings file to your profile folder... Glad it's working now :-)

SSA does not require an internet connection, it just checks at startup if a new version is available. If no internet connection is available, it doesn't check... The latest MS updates change some stuff and introduced a lot of issues with ClickOnce applications. In this thread are several approaches to tackle this... SSA uses so called network sockets to talk to DCS. Maybe your firewall is to sensitive and blocks such socket communication...

Was genau funktioniert nicht? Du musst die Livery-Dateien natürlich in DDS umwandeln und eine passende description.lua für deinen Skin erstellen. Wenn sie dann im richtigen Livery-Ordner in der DCS-Installation liegen klappt es auch mit dem Modelviewer. Modell-Laden, Livery-Dialog öffnen, passendes Muster wählen und dann werden alle installieren Liveries angezeigt...

Naja, es sind verschiedene zwei Videos, evtl einfach nicht sauber synchronisiert. Um die Latenz wirklich beurteilen zu können müsste man beides gleichzeitig aufnehmen...

Maybe your anti virus software removes some files from the installation routine? It should update the current SSA version. Just run the exe, it's basically the same file which would be downloaded by the updater. I hope this will work... :) Thanks

It should autoupdate if you start SSA from the shortcut or you could try to download the latest setup file: http://dsteam.azurewebsites.net/downloads/SSA_Setup.exe

The version number is shown in the about dialogue or titelbar of SSA. New planes will only show up in SSA once you flew them in DCS with SSA running!

SSA internally communicates with DCS through internal network sockets. Thus, if your firewall blocks this, SSA may not work. However, SSA does not use any outgoing connection to the internet...

SSA should update automatically. The current stable version is 1.2.0.0... If you are on the latest version, you should check the export.lua if there is everything ok...

Hmm... Maybe you feel the flap movement? The FA18 moves the flaps in auto mode quite often?

I'll have a look at this, there should be a slider but how knows ... SoundModule is not my business, please contact Andre. F18 does not export RPM values at the moment thus SSA can not model the RPM effect... I would check the export.lua. Are you using any other addon like VAICOM, TacView... ?
