  1. Cool! Thanks! I'm extremely green when it comes to arduino coding, but perhaps I'll be able to whip up a prototype showing what I want then? Am I interpreting the code you posted correctly? I'll give it a spin, and if it doesn't work I suppose I'll shout for help. :)
  2. Thank you for your answer. In the control reference the code for setting up potentiometers for setting the RSBN channel is available, however the code for exporting what the RSBN channel displays is not. Perhaps this data is not even exported? I truly don't know. It would be very cool to add that to my simpit, and I thought it worthwile asking about it. Once again, thank you so much for your work, and the work of the people collaborating with you. I hope to see more planes added in the future. The Viggen in particular. :)
  3. Hi! Really really great job with DCS bios. Two questions, and I apologize if these have been answered before. 1. Do you plan to include the Viggen by LNS into DCS-bios when it has been released? 2. Would it be possible to export the numbers displayed by the RSBN selector in the Mig 21 to a LCD display? I would like to build a panel that includes the RSBN selection. Once again. Great work!
  4. So there is an engine relight system that engages when firing implemented in the module, but the engine sound isn't supposed to be there? Am I interpreting things correctly?
  5. If that is the case it's really cool. It wasn't like that before. Can we get a confirmation? :)
  6. Thanks for letting us know Cobra. It feels good to be out of the dark. Can't wait to test it.
  7. The Mig mirror definitely has a use, and that's why it being so dark bothers me. To check the tail of the Mig 21 you need that mirror, but under a lot of conditions I sadly can't see anything beyond the tail fin. :/
  8. It's mainly an acronym used I guess. Short Take Off and Landing (STOL). It can land in one direction, reverse and turn around and then take off in the opposite direction. So the take off is almost as short as the landing.
  9. Magic. ;) It's actually three shields deployed behind the engine to direct the jet blast forwards. It allows for Short Take Off and Landing. Needed by the Swedish air force. One of the many cool features of the Viggen.
  10. So I have noticed that the mirror in the Mig 21 shows a very dark picture. During the days it's fine, but when light conditions aren't that great it makes it almost impossible to see anything. Has anybody else noticed this, and is there a way of tweaking it? Thanks in advance!
  11. Thanks! That solved it for me. :) I did notice another issue though. The RSBN beacons seem to be non functional. At least when set to the channels written in the kneeboard. That may not be new however.
  12. Same here. Also, the view from within the cockpit jerks slightly upwards every few seconds and then back down again. Framerate is good and locked at 60 FPS. It doesn't happen in any external view and it happens with trackIR bot on and off. The issue is not present in the A-10C.
  13. Maximum release range for the Rb 04 is 24 km. Recommended is 20 km. Rb 75 isn't in the version of the manual I have available sadly. :/
  14. Yep. It only shows you the minimum and maximum G-load attained, and that can be reset. You can't really "control" anything about it, other than not turning way to tight. :)
  15. Make sure you have flipped the two JATO/SPRD switches on. They are left of the AC generator switch. These must be flipped after the countermeasures are loaded on the aircraft as far as I know. Also, it's not enough to just press the countermeasures button. It must be held for a little while. Maybe 300 milliseconds or so. Let me know if it works out. :)
  16. Really awesome kit indeed Yoda! I do wonder what string to put in the config file to bind an OSB to a joystick or USB controller. I'd like to have the inputs bound to my cougar MFDs. Is that doable? Would you happen to know what the string should look like and where the proper information for it could be found?
  17. WOW! Awesome images! I am so building a few panels for the Viggen when it comes out. Flipping some actual switches really enhances the flying experience for me. :)
  18. This will be so much fun! So far I have had a great time with Mike and the rest, plus the GAU-8 sounds better when others are listening. :) /Emil
  19. Thanks for the update! One small issue though. I tried exporting the clock in the A-10C, but it didn't work properly. The dragable window for the clock is empty, but the two buttons are clickable. The clock itself is however displayed in the lower left corner of the exported left MFCD. Really strange. I'm running DCS on three screens in nvidia surround with 5850x1080 resolution (some bezeling adds 90 to the width). I'm exporting the left and right MFCD as well as the RWR to a fourth screen below the middle center screen. I hope that makes sense. It all works like a charm except for the clock. I generated a diagnostics package as well, but that was to long to post in the forum. I'll attach it as a file here then. Diagnostics package Jan Telefon.txt
  20. Yep... Granted I fly mainly the A-10, but the Skhval and Abris exports are still very useful for my second screen. But the left and right MFCD export as well as the RWR export I pretty much can't fly without at this stage. I'm keeping my fingers crossed UltraMFCD will support 1.5/2.0 when we get them. :) Great work on this software. REALLY!!! GREAT WORK!!!
  21. Oh no!!! I'm grounded. How am I supposed to fly the A-10C or KA-50 without the awesome UltraMFCD?
  22. Hey Andre! I tried the updated dashboard shake and vortex ring state fot the huey, and they are still way to strong. I have them set to 2, and as soon as the effect kicks in my buttkicker goes into red. Thanks! :) /Emil
  23. Hi Andre! The rotor effects are much better now thanks. Although the dashboard shake and vortex ring state effect (#5 ) are far too strong. Makes my buttkicker go into the red even if I set it very low (2 or 1). So those would need to be set lower in my opinion. The Mig 21 is feeling really good now. I like the afterburner effect and have it set to 100 for a good rumbly feel when the afterburner is engaged. However, many effects including guns, ground bumbs, speedbrake shudders and stall (#3, 4, 6 and 9) are far to strong when the afterburner is engaged. When the afterburner is off and engine RPM is 98-100% they are great, but as soon as the afterburner kicks in they are much too strong. I I lower the afterburner effect they are fine, but then I can't feel the afterburner as much as I would like. :/ There may be more effects that are effected, but these were the ones I could find. Also, the Stall effect works well in the A-10C, but seems way to strong in the Mig 21. But the strength of the Stall effect seems to depend on throttle in the Mig 21. If I'm at 98% or afterburner it's very strong. At lower throttle it's weaker and more appropriate. Only I don't want to lower my throttle when I stall. I want more thrust to get out of it. :) I hope my text makes sense to you. :) Thanks!
  24. Hi Andre! It's been a while since I tested the sound module, and it's a vast improvement since last time! :) The A-10 stuff is really great! For the Mig-21 I would personally like the effect for the landing gear to be a little bit stronger. You can really hear the thud of the landing gear slamming up and down, so I think you should feel that a bit more. That would be effect number 7. Also, it feels and sounds like the Mig-21 is a rumbly plane, and I'm not sure if you could add some kind of engine- or speed-related rumble when flying. That would be really cool. :) For the Huey I have effect number 2, Enhanced main rotor whirl (RPM > 42%), turned up to max, but I can barely feel it. I'm not sure if you would feel that as much in a real Huey, but I would like to feel the main rotor while flying. So maybe you could make effect number 2 a bit stronger? That's it for now I think. :) Thanks for the great work!
  25. Hey Andre! I haven't yet had the opportunity to try the new updates, but they look great! :) I wonder if it's possible to implement the shaking of bombs/rockets/exploding vehicles when you are somewhat close. I feel a thing that adds a lot when the buttkicker is going on the game sound is explosions. Maybe bigger bombs could give you more of a shake than smaller ones. Do you think that would be possible? Thanks again for your great work! :) /Emil
