  1. I press LSHIFT + F10 and nothing happens. No labels. (I'm flying the instant action mission, "Target Practice" ).
  2. Can anyone do a tutorial on removing the spring from the Saitek ST290 Pro stick?
  3. In the options panel, select the special options and then UH1H. If autopilot availability (or something similar) is already selected then deselect it. Exit DCS and restart DCS. Go back to options-> special options-> UH1H and select autopilot available. This time it should work (at least it worked for me).
  4. I've selected the special option for the autopilot for UH1H in the options. In flight even when my weapons are armed and I press LWin A, the autopilot status shows it as off. I can't turn it on manually and also if I switch to the co-pilot or one of the door gunners, even then the autopilot doesn't turn on. The flight manual did state that switching to another position in the cockpit will automatically cause the AI to take control of the helicopter. Anything that I may be missing? Ok, I read the relevant post and found out. It works now
  5. Thanks Tuco
  6. Thanks guys.
  7. Greetings, I'm new to the DCS series. My previous flight sims were Falcon 4 (vanilla, Superpak, Allied Force and BMS), IL-2 Sturmovik, Pacific Figthers, IL-2 COD, B-17: Mighty Eighth, WWII fighters and DOS-based sims (Aces over Pacifc and Aces over Europe by EA, etc.) I've never been a good virtual pilot especially when it comes to dogfights, mid-air refueling, formation flying and most importantly landing. I don't own a very good controller (currently using the Saitek ST290 Pro). However, I do plan on ordering the Saitek X-55 rhino, CH pro Pedals and TrackIR 5 in December. 1. Right now I want some tips on setting up my controls properly as the Huey bobs around the airfield when I'm in the cockpit. I can never hover (IGE) in one position for more than 10 seconds and I always land in a different place than the one I intended to land in (that is if I don't crash). I was watching a survival guide on youtube by ExcessiveHeadspace. I think that the flight model has been changed since that video was released hence I'd like to know what kind of curves should I use on my axes? 2. How do I change to hover out of ground effect from forward flying without getting into trouble?
