The steam version of DCS 2.5 released a couple of days back. After a long 9.6 GB download I was very excited about the in game graphics so I loaded a custom mission (made in the earlier version) for the Huey and the trees looked the same :(. Was this done to improve performance? because I was expecting better trees from the videos I saw.

I'm using a logitech extreme 3d pro stick and throttle plus CH pro pedals. Whenever I set the cyclic trimmer using a designated button on the stick it yanks the cyclic suddenly in the direction that I'm pulling and then sets the trimmer and centers (to the trim point). Is this normal?

Yeah I can see what you mean. I followed 2 tutorials, one mentioned in your post and another involving GIMP. I can't see anything when I open the downloaded Huey texture template in Ps or GIMP. I verified the MD5 hash for the zip file.

The parking brake handle/lever introduced in the previous update has to be held down other wise it goes back inside. Is this a bug or it's supposed to work like that?

Yes that helps. Unfortunately the X-52 throttle's base alone is 2 inches tall so this won't fit.

I'm trying to get my sibling to bring this throttle for me. I wanted to know if it will fit in the suitcase. I can't find the out of the box dimensions for it. Can anyone tell me the height in inches. Thanks in advance.

Yes HOKUM52 you were right. I was trying to release the KAB-500kr below 1000m. I tried it just now above 1000m and there's no problem. Thanks! :)

I've googled this issue before posting. I can't fire the KAB-500kr using my assigned joystick button. I first encountered this problem in the training mission but I solved it by changing the keyboard key assignment from space bar to the "Y" key. Then I tried it in a mission that I made in the editor but this time when I approached the tanks with a lock on, the LA symbol flashes for a couple of seconds before disappearing. I've tried "Y" key, my trigger on the joystick (it's the assigned button on the joystick) and changing the keyboard assigned key back to Space Bar. I hold them down but the KAB-500kr doesn't launch. I'm using the English cockpit mod v1.3 for the SU-25T.

The only manual in my DOCS folder for F-86F in English is the quick start guide. The other in Russian mostly with a few lines of English here and there. 1. Any news on whether there will be detailed all English manual too? 2. Has the F-86F come out of Beta? If not when is it expected to be finalised?

I tried the VKB FSC Europe website which sells the cobra joystick. First of all they're out of stock. Secondly I tried to order the ECS throttle which is still in stock but they have only 2 payment methods (Paypal & Bank transfer). Paypal is not an option for me. For bank transfer I need an address of the company but they have no such information on their website so it's pretty much useless. The about us page says they're based in Amsterdam but no address.

Cobra M5 seems to be sold out on its website. I don't think I'll be needing that many buttons for DCS Sabre, Huey and Mi-8. It would have been ideal if I could trim the aircraft using a combo of throttle and stick but I'm on a budget. I also would need it for War Thunder if I like to play in simulator mode.
