I'm trying to decide between the two options: 1. TM T16000M Flight Stick and CH Pro Throttle 2. Saitek X-52 Pro I've about the rotaries on the X-52 pro not working smoothly. Also the slider on the throttle. I wanted to use the rotaries as trim controls. Which option should I choose? Which is more durable?

thank you both. -
How can I add static aircraft, helos, vehicles etc. in my missions (using the editor) for ground attack practice? Also how do I add coloured smoke to mark the target area?

Pakistan Air Force skins please.

Gun camera. I'd like a gun camera and to be able to view its footage. It would be nice to have it start rolling on a two-stage trigger.

Nice! Been looking for such a solution but I guess it has to be custom built. -

thanks for the info guys. Pedals I already have so no need for using the twist function. (CH pro pedals) Sokol, so the CH throttle is not a good idea? If it has an 8-bits controller does that mean it won't be as accurate? Another question is that I'm running out of USB 2 ports; I've got the Track IR, keyboard, mouse, pedals and the joystick plus a wire from the UPS to the PC for monitoring. But I still have 4 extra USB 3.0 ports. Is there any harm in connecting peripherals to the USB 3.0 ports? I noticed that when I used a USB flash drive on a USB 3 port it wasn't as responsive as when inserted in a usb 2 port. -
1. Is the Saitek X-52 pro compatible with Windows 10? Are there any issues running it with DCS on win 10? 2. Is the above option for a stick and throttle better in terms of durability or the TM T-16000M and a CH products pro throttle? 3. Overall (through experience) which is best for DCS running on Win 10 pro?

I found out that by default pressing "\" on ground brings up the comms menu. When airborne if the default keys are used then "RAlt + \" needs to be pressed to bring up comms. The preset channel 1 is usually the one which is used to communicate with your flight. In the editor it is set to 225MHz by default and the same frequency can be seen for COMM on the player aircraft and the wingmen. For communicating with the ATC a relevant preset channel for the required airbase needs to be selected. All preset channels are visible if an F86 icon is clicked in the mission editor and the last tab in the same group of tabs as the loadout is clicked. This will give channel numbers and the corresponding frequencies. If one doesn't have a list of airbases and there tower frequencies then it takes some time to match these frequencies with the bases by clicking on them in the map of the editor and noting down their UHF frequencies.

Can someone upload these videos to dailymotion? Youtube is blocked in my region.

Thanks, it worked.

I can get the missile tone and lock also but I can't fire the sidewinder missile. The guns fire alright when guns are selected but sidewinders won't come off whether I use the trigger or the weapon release button on my stick. I select missile instead of guns with the knob on the center panel. I'm running the 1.5 beta.

[CLOSED] F-86F left flap not working on ground
irfanahmed1979 replied to irfanahmed1979's topic in Object Bugs
I think you're right. Closing air brakes initially took a lot of time. However after applying some RPM they opened and closed faster. Also applying some RPM led to the lowering of the left flap. Here are the screen shots if anybody's interested. -
I'm using the steam version (which means I'm running DCS by using a shortcut for DCS.exe and not through steam). I tried to take some screenshots using the printscreen/sysRQ key but can't find where they are saved. In the Cold start mission after startup I lowered the flaps fully using the 'F' key and only the right flap lowered and the left flap remained unchanged. After takeoff I looked at the outside view and both flaps were fully lowered.

I'm also experiencing the same issue. Will try the manual method.

Thanks it worked for me.

Steam Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and Steam Specific Issues

I have the steam version. How can I be informed about upcoming sales/discounts on DCS modules without having to check steam everyday?
