Anti-shipping strike mission was assigned to EF-18 hornets in Spain. There is no mention to added anti-shipping capabilities to the Cyrano IVM in the official magazine (Revista de aeronautica y Astronautica) during the upgrade to F1M version. About the radar, it only mention 2 modifications. Due to the digitalisation of the aircraft using Bus MIL-1553B, the signal was digitalised to be able to change the old monochrome screen for a new multi-function display. Also to enable CCIP and CCRP modes new air to ground radar range modes were added to the Cyrano IVM. These ranging modes were not available in CE/EE versions.

Just some gauges are placed in different parts of the cockpit as far I know.

All tranches got the IVM as earlier tranches got their radars upgraded to the last version.

It will be interesting to know what CE cockpit was modelled in the sim as there are differences between tranches. Tranche 1, 2 or 3?

My guess is the next patch. Probably on 14 Julliet but just a coincidence IMHO. Yes the French national day is l culture knowledge in Spain, same than other national days. Same way everybody knows 12 October as the Spanish National day (hispanic Day, Columbus Day in USA).

In operation DISS should be in Operation mode. Memory mode is automatically switched when DISS doesnt have readings (flying over water, bank rolls exceding 30 degress...), you can see memory mode in operation during traslational fligjt when a green light with an "n" is displayed in the drift and GS gauge. As sLYFa said, it doesnt make sense to fly in DCS with Orthodromic navigation as the maps are too small and DCS maps are flat. But if you wanna do it, dont forget to fix the drift of the system, at least, every hour as in the Mi-8 we don't have RSBN for automatic fixes.

As per Karon Screenshot, it is clearly bugged. I tested myself too and I got the same impression (sorry no screenshot). Also no patch notes for the Tomcat so. Thats it.

RCS is not directly related to size. ie. Stealth planes.
